We cruised Jan 6-10th from Mobile Alabama, We had two days at sea and one day in Cozumel. I will not complain about the weather as obviously that is not under Carnival's control, but two days at sea when the temperature is only in the late 50's makes in unpleasant to sit out on the deck. I just cruised on the Elation to Cozumel and was scheduled to go to Calica. We arrived in Cazumel 6 hours late because of propulsion problems. This put us in around 2:00 pm instead of 8:00 am as scheduled. This gave only a few hours of daylight to enjoy the island. Parking It was freezing cold as low as 29F at Mobile, AL when we got there around noon. We dropped our luggage at the terminal (make sure you print your luggage tags and have them stapled and ready) and proceeded to the parking structure. We are from MO and had a 11 hour drive to get to Mobile, AL for our cruise. This was our second cruise with Carnival. The Elation was a smaller boat than the Conquest we took in Jan 2010. Our room was always clean and the cabin staff were exceptional. The bed is pretty hard, but it was comfortable. Cruise food should be better than it was on the Elation.
