Oceanview stateroom with private balcony and twin beds that convert to king. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films.
Do not book this room. When we booked this cabin, we were worried about noise coming from the outside in the hallways, due to its position between the mid-ship stairwell & elevators but this was never a problem. However, there was noise in the cabin that made it nearly impossible to sleep. When the boat was moving there was a constant 'ticking' noise in the ceiling above the beds. The closest thing that I could say the sound resembled was a sewing machine. The noise went away when pressure was placed on the ceiling from below but once released the noise returned. Crew attempted to repair, but noise returned after leaving an overnight port. It was a great cabin location, great balcony and there was hardly any noise from the halls. Without the ceiling making it impossible to get a good night's sleep in, it would be a great choice of cabin. However due to this, I would not recommend it, especially for light sleepers. Great cabin. 30 feet to elevator to Lido buffet area. Located on a section that protrudes out from other cabins. First on, so only one neighbor. The ventilation system does not work. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 7212 and 7241 are typical Carnival balcony cabins. Both of these are located near the mid-ship (atrium) elevators and with cabins both above and below them to minimize in-cabin noise (we were once directly below the piano bar - not good!). The cabins were equipped with two tall closets for hanging clothes and a third with shelves for folded clothes, a desk/dresser with 4 small drawers, one with an attached blow dryer that adequately handled my thick, shoulder length hair, a vinyl covered futon/sofa with small coffee table, two twins/king bed with 2 nightstands, a small under cabinet refrigerator, a flat screen television, an in-room safe, and a small storage cabinet. There were two chairs and a small table on the balcony. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 8241 - AWESOME location right near the stairs and elevators. One flight up to the buffet so getting early morning coffee was a breeze...easier than getting room room service. Also great to run up and get a snack. And one flight up to the Serenity Deck and bar. So convenient! With the elevators right there, it was a straight shot down to the dining room. We never heard noise from above. LOVED the location of this cabin and would book it again in a heartbeat! Read entire member review >>
our cabin was excellent. very quiet. beds were comfortable and our steward was amazing. great location - forward by the stairs/elevators. no excess noise heard due to the proximity of stairs/elevator. Balcony was usual size and very enjoyable. Read entire member review >>
The shower needs more space to keep the items you bring on board. No shelves to put your shampoo and body wash.
We were two doors down from laundry room. Very convenient and no noise. Two years ago we were right across from it and had folks leaning on our door.
This cabin had a connecting door to another cabin. We used it as we had our family in next cabin. It was a nice convenience but we could not lock it at all during the week to make cabin private. Read entire member review >>
Tiny balcony with small chairs and obstructed view due to the layout of the ship. Plenty of closet space until you tried to store your luggage. Would have been better if there were more drawer space. Great location, close to elevators, but not at all noisy. Only one flight up to the Lido deck. Read entire member review >>
We had a great room. Cabin 8126 is port side balcony toward the front of the ship, close to the elevator and stairs just below the Spa. It is quiet during the evening and early morning and allows quick and easy access to and from the Lido Deck during the day. It is also allows for easy access to the Phantom Lounge, Madhatters, Sams Piano Bar, Frankie & Johnnys, Maguires Sports Pub, the Sushi Bar and the Fountainhead Cafe. Read entire member review >>
Great Balcony view...Cabin was quite large with ample room and a comfortable bed. We stayed next door to the couple we were traveling with so we had them open the divider between the two balconies and the adjoining room door which made it very handy to go from one cabin to the other and gave us one large balcony space to share. The only noise issue we had was other guests letting their balcony and cabin doors slam shut without holding them to close more quietly. Read entire member review >>
