This ship is the worst ship i have been on in about 11 cruises. I booked 5 cabins for myself and family. This ship is older and the square feet of the balcony, and bath were much smaller than usual. I always book a junior suite, which was smaller by far than other ships. Suite had no bathtub or any counter at all in the bathroom (only a pedastal sink). Only 1 electric outlet in the entire suite. ...
This cruise was a good cruise for a short cruise with only 2 port stops; Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman . This ships was good but perhaps because it is small, it did not offer the best fun experience. There was not enough service to keep the common areas clean; hallways were cluttered, tables were left littered with debris and old food every afternoon. Limited service in the Lido deck especially ...
I thought the cruise was great and family friendly. They had something for everyone my family and I liked the family friendly comedy show the most. Our kids are old enough to go to their age group clubs and meet kids their age so we sent them off and we went to the adult comedian show. My youngest daughter is 13 and she went to the 13-17 year olds club and she loved it she also loved the water ...
The boarding and debarkation was super smooth. The Carnival rep called me a few weeks prior to the cruise to upgrade at a super discount, so I got a Grand Suite for a steal and was it ever worth the few extra dollars.
The staff were always courteous and helpful. The food was fabulous, especially Guy's Burgers!! Absolutely no complaints on the cabin or amenities.
Will definitely go back to ...
Got a deal on this cruise so I took it. We usually cruise out of Jacksonville. Will say for the price you can not beat it. The food was good, casino hosts and waitstaff were good most nights but.....this ship is ghastly pink with pearls and it is awful. (i love pink and i love pearls) Now that I am done with that....The indian tandoori on splendor is fabulous. Best free restaurant on the ship. ...
I like Carnival because you have people of all ages. Especially people who like to have fun. This was a graduation cruise for my daughter. We arrived in Miami a day early and had a wonderful enjoyable day. Embarkation at the cruise terminal was easy. The ship is nice, and we especially loved our Premium Vista Balcony room (wrap around balcony at back of ship). This is the only kind of room I ...
As this was my 8th cruise with Carnival. My 3rd on the Glory, 2 disappointing cruises in a row. The last one was 2014, where we sailed to Aruba and Curacao. Both islands had their labor day which meant both islands were completely closed for bars, restaurants, shops etc... (all they had to do is flip flop the days we were at the islands). This time, the boat smelled horrible! Nauseating! We docked ...
I like Carnival. Most of my cruises have been with them. I am Platinum member with Carnival and RCCL. Having said this, Carnival Splendor, was a huge disappointment.
Decor: I liked it. You want to see ugly ships go on the Imagination or the Sensation.
Cabin: I would have enjoyed it more, if our cabin person was less lazy.
Food: Bad. Same lunch everyday. Desserts on the other hand, were ...
Overall Carnival offers a average cruise for an average price. The staff is overworked and under trained. it is very obvious that the cruise line cuts every corner to save money. The worst experience is walking past the casino to get to the restaurant. They allow smoking there and the stench is unbearable. We love to gamble and would spend a good deal of money in the casino If we could breath ...
Me and the wife sailed on the Carnival Fantasy before and enjoyed it so we went back for our honeymoon using a balcony room. It is almost the EXACT same boat as the Fantasy. My biggest complaint is sometimes the staff were a slight bit confused but only due to a language barrier but if you speak very clear and understandable english, you shouldn't have a problem. Walking up in there with slang and ...
