This ship is the worst ship i have been on in about 11 cruises. I booked 5 cabins for myself and family. This ship is older and the square feet of the balcony, and bath were much smaller than usual. I always book a junior suite, which was smaller by far than other ships. Suite had no bathtub or any counter at all in the bathroom (only a pedastal sink). Only 1 electric outlet in the entire suite. ...

I thought the cruise was great and family friendly. They had something for everyone my family and I liked the family friendly comedy show the most. Our kids are old enough to go to their age group clubs and meet kids their age so we sent them off and we went to the adult comedian show. The boarding and debarkation was super smooth. The Carnival rep called me a few weeks prior to the cruise to upgrade at a super discount, so I got a Grand Suite for a steal and was it ever worth the few extra dollars. Got a deal on this cruise so I took it. We usually cruise out of Jacksonville. Will say for the price you can not beat it. The food was good, casino hosts and waitstaff were good most nights but.....this ship is ghastly pink with pearls and it is awful. Overall Carnival offers a average cruise for an average price. The staff is overworked and under trained. it is very obvious that the cruise line cuts every corner to save money. The worst experience is walking past the casino to get to the restaurant. They allow smoking there and the stench is unbearable. Me and the wife sailed on the Carnival Fantasy before and enjoyed it so we went back for our honeymoon using a balcony room. It is almost the EXACT same boat as the Fantasy.
