After going thru quite the ordeal just to get to our cruise we had a wonderful time. Half Moon Cay was a ton of fun and beautiful. All the activities on board kept us going the entire time we were on board. Matt our cruise director was great and we really enjoyed all the trivia nights. Just June was hilarious. The entire crew was pleasant and made you feel welcome. Nassau was interesting but we ...

This was my first cruise with the Carnival Cruise line. I had cruised 3 times before on Royal Caribbean and I can tell you it was a major difference. We were there to celebrate a friends birthday and it was 10 of us. I understood prior that this was an older and smaller ship. However, they didn't have to many entertaining things to do. They only had Bingo for 2 days and one of those days it was ...

Having cruised many times, this was my first Carnival cruise. I chose Carnival because of my grandchildren (11 & 9), thinking they would enjoy it. It was their first cruise and even they weren't particularly impressed. The decor of the ship was ostentatious. Whoever designed it needed to be reigned in, big time. Too much pink leopard, patterns, and lights. I'm all for fun but EDIT ...

AMAZING TIME ON THE SPLENDOR

I always sail out of Miami since I live 30 minutes away from the port. I always cruise with my mother and nephew, but they couldn't make it this time. I got to port at 11:00, and was on the ship at 11:30. This has been the earliest that I have ever boarded out of my 28 cruises. Embarkation was a breeze. I booked an inside cabin since I was cruising by myself. When I cruise with my ...

Disappointed! This was my first, and now only, Carnival cruise. I chose this cruise because we took our daughter and two granddaughters, thinking the girls (9 & 11) would enjoy the activities. It was their first cruise and even they weren't impressed. The decor of the ship was ostentatious...too much pink leopard, patterns and lights. I'm all for fun but they need to edit, please...not seven ...

The ship was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. Our interior cabin was comfortable and well kept. The girls (12 and 16) enjoyed their respective clubs, which gave my husband and I time alone. We all loved dinning at the Fantasy dinning room. And the food available on the Lido deck was pretty good too. The clubs for the girls kept them busy with board games, video games, movies, ...

I chose this becuse a group of 34 friends invited me and spouse. The food buffets breakfast excellent, but the lunch/dinner buffet were a bit of a dissapointment. The lunch time were done by 2:30pm, you could not come back from the island at 4pm and look for a healthy lunch, not even a salad bar availble, only burgers, pizza, and deli sandwiches. Need a healthy salad available at all times. Pizza ...

the worst experience we ever had so far at Carnival cruises . we had overnight flight and arrived at 6 am , embarkation didn't start until 10 am . the room was not ready until 2 :30 pm . The cabin need upgrading . ( small TV. old furniture . etc) . we didn't get out luggage until 9pm . so we couldn't change into new clothes or clean up after long trip from home, the cabin was located on the 8 ...

Nice Cruise

We have cruised a number of times (about 8) on different cruise lines with and without our children. The programs for the older kids aren't that interesting and our kids (14 and 11) didn't care to spend much time participating. Will definitely have to consider taking friends for them next time. Our cabin was typical for a balcony and nothing special about it, however, I did like the linens and ...

This was our fourth time on a carnival cruise. Our last one was seven years ago and a lot has changed since then. One of the things you look forward to when you cruise is the food, and the dining room food was just horrendous. To start the selections were terrible, portions were tiny, and quality was cafeteria like. I know you can ask for more than one portion, but why? The sandwich shop and pizza ...
