Carnival Miami Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

First Time Cruisers on Glory

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

This was my first cruise and I am thoroughly impressed. I can see why people become avid cruisers. From the minute we boarded to the minute we stepped off, I felt like a VIP. The crew was fantastic - friendly, genuinely interested, engaged in the conversation. They addressed you by name (they actually remembered our name). They anticipated your needs. They made you feel like family. Entertainment ...

Pretty disappointed overall

I chose this cruise because I had sailed with Carnival before and remember it being much better. I am NOT picky. I usually look at the glass half full, and I really do try and view things positively. This is an older ship, and that part didn't bother me at all. The first problem I experienced was the dining room. We were in the Platinum dining room. This was our HONEYMOON. We were sat with ...

You get what you pay for. Read the review and make your own decision The Pros: Crew is great and they really work hard to make your trip fun The rooms are quite nice and well laid out. Even though there were 4 of us in a inside stateroom. we managed just fine. The experience in the formal dining room is quite good. The food is good, the service is great. Cruise director Matt (?) ...

This being my 15 Carnival cruise, I thought it was very good. For being an old ship, I even liked the décor better than newer ships like the Splendor. The dining room staff and our cabin steward, were very accommodating, as I traveled with 2 wheel chair bound friends and one in a scooter. Even departing was very easy for us. Other than not being able to dock in Turks & Caicos, which we've ...

This was an affordable Thanksgiving cruise for my family of 5 and group of 85. This was probably our 8th cruise. Carnival has always been my least favorite cruise line, but it has its pros, most importantly it's affordable and it is fun. We definitely had a good time and for the price we paid for 5 people over Thanskgiving, we got our money's worth. The ship is very small and very dated meaning it ...

Splendor needs dining room support.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Splendor

The dining room is in need of management support. We had a table for 11. First, only 3 small servings of butter and 2 baskets of bread. This lasted about 5 minutes. When the salad arrived we could not get any butter or bread. Asked but the waiter stated that they have been instructed to NOT put baskets of bread on the table. We asked to have more bread and butter each day but it took 3 days ...

Used to love Carnival....no so much anymore!!!

I chose the Carnival Splendor because the date is what we wanted and the itinerary was what we were looking for - Grand Turk, Dominican Republic (LaRomana), Curacao and Aruba. The Splendor, although an older ship, was fine....the decor is somewhat outdated. We were in a cabin on Deck 8 with a balcony and it was a nice sized room and comfortable for the two of us. This was my 7th cruise (3rd ...

It felt like everything on this cruise involved waiting. It was a huge line for embarkation, but I figured once we were on the boat it wouldn't be a problem. Then, getting off the boat on the tender days took hours, unless you booked a Carnival excursion, same with getting back on the boat on Grand Cayman. This is probably easier for adults to handle, but we were traveling with two kids (ages 2 ...

Great value

My wife and I have been on 3 other cruise lines but this cruise on the Splendor was memorable - not just because of the company we had. Food and dining options were very good: we didn't even have to pay for specialty dining. Our servers paid attention to our preferences and knew what we wanted whenever we sat down. They were very cheerful and helpful - especially Suphardi (female Thai server ...
