Carnival Miami Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Not my favorite

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Vista

I've been on 3 different cruise lines and 9 cruises - we have learned that the newer ships offer the best in new entertainment and cleanliness - so we opted for the Vista. The Carnival Valor had been our favorite followed closely by RC's Allure of the seas to this point and I was hoping Vista would exceed those two. The main pool area where we typically love to watch the various laugh ensuing ...

Somewhat Disappointed

Listening to cruise director and comedy club manger was like the movie Ground Hog Day. Both repeat, repeat, repeat , etc to the point of annoyance. I also don' feel the "fun staff" who lead the activities was diverse enough and was not happy with the extreme flamboyance and exploitation of the sexuality of one said staff member. Food staff at Lido deck were quite rude. Long lines at skycab ...

Too crowded

Let me start off by saying this is my first time (and probably last time) on a Carnival boat. I felt like a sardine; everywhere you turn there was a line for this, a line for that. Random hours for things that weren't posted clearly; overall very unorganized unless you follow every announcement and read every shred of paper that comes into your room. It seems like they added a bunch of ...

26 y.o female on a boat with a bestie's fam - looking for fun and relaxation!

My best friend's family was cruising and they had an extra bed available, so I figured I had to fill it and check out the Carnival experience! I've cruised with Royal Carribbean, Norwegian, and Holland America, but this was my first Carnival experience and as a 26 y.o female I was interested to see what it's all about. Embarkation line looked tremendously long at 12:30 but everything moved ...

Limiting food availability and declining service

9 member family & neighbors had a good time, but not because of ship and crew. I was surprised how much the food was obviously rationed. Lido buffet only open for short periods of time, and often out of basic food. Sandwich and pizza counters in buffet area were not only understaffed but pretty obviously moving very slowly. Mongolian Wok place OK, but rarely open, and the appetizer tasting ...

Bigger Boat not Bigger Fun

The boat is huge and makes it difficult to get around. The layout is confusing, even after using the Carnival HUB. We had difficulties with customer service. My husband had 8 trips to their counter and still they did not get the charges right. They still overcharged the wrong credit card we gave them. The initial start to our voyage was fraught with difficulties. We had 4 teenagers, one of them ...

Most horrible cruise I ever had

I just wanted a cruise that would cross through Christmas and the children suggested we try Carnival.Firstly were left 2 hours late 6pm instead of 4pm so after getting to Miami and staying at a hotel a day in advance to be sure you are on time; waste of effort and money. I also need to suggest that a wind tunnel is no place for a safety briefing, other than the persons on the end the Team Members ...

It was nice

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

The ship was clean and the cabins were nicer than we expected. We wish there would have been more shows during at-sea days, and that someone would do something about the chair hoggers. Every time we went up to the pool areas, the chairs were covered with peoples belongings or towels, yet no one ever sat in them. I guess they saved them "just in case" they might want to sit there, or watch the ...

Not the Carnival I remember

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Vista

It seems that Carnival has built a big ship but understaffed it and did not allow any extra amenities. Still only 4 buffet lines and the dining room that we ate in only held 700 people and was a single story. When we spoke to the Maitre de Ken he didn't like the ship and was transferring to the Pride. In fact of all the staff I spoke with NOT ONE LIKED THE .CARNIVAL VISTA. He also shared ...
