We booked this cruise in Jan 16 so had been looking forward to it all year. Embarkation was ok, we had to wait about an hour but once we got going we were on quite quickly. Our sail and sign cards were waiting in our postbox outside our cabin. They are not given to you when you check in like normal. First of all, we love carnival. We are platinum. I have about 35 cruises with them and am loyal.. but this boat was hot! I was sweating like crazy everywhere and our cabin was even hotter. This cruise was perfect! The weather was sunny all the time, smooth sailing!
The food in buffet was always good, we had chosen eat when you want in the evening. It was terrific!
The shows were way beyond what I thought they would be, extra points on this one.

We have been on many Carnival Cruises and love their boats and service. That being said this is the worst cruise we had ever been on. It was like they cut down on everything to save money. I am an experienced cruiser. I have Platinum Carnival status with 12 cruises on Carnival, 10 cruises on Royal Caribbean, and 3 cruises on Norwegian. There are some good things and some bad things on the new flagship Vista, but the bad far outweigh the good and the ship just misses the mark. It is my least favorite Carnival ship by far.
