Carnival Miami Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Vista

First lets start with the port of Miami staggered embarcation. I was scheduled between 11:30-12:00. I showed up at the port at 11:45, stood in line for 15 minutes outside and was inside the terminal for another 10 minutes before I made it to the check in desks. Check in was quick and efficient and I was in the waiting room within minutes after that and boarded the ship by 12:30. The ship is ...

DON'T GO WITH CARNIVAL

If I could give carnival vista negative stars I would. The service was terrible, the entertainment was not what you would expect, The ship is bigger only in that they have more rooms they did not increase the public areas to make room for the increased number of passengers. At times we had to clear our own table so that we would have a place to sit and eat. I bought the bottomless bubbles package ...

We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary. The price was affordable, and it was the time of year that we wanted to go. We decided to book some excursions with Carnival. We chose the horse and carriage ride in Belize and the catamaran to Pasion Island in Cozumel. We enjoyed both and felt that they were a good value. In Grand Cayman and Roatan, we were on our own and enjoyed that as well. ...

Bigger Is For Sure Not Better

I had been planning this cruise since the ship opened up for bookings. Was so excited about going on the newest and largest carnival new ship. Well after the fast and efficient loading process and entering the ship. The wow factor is for sure not in effect on the vista. The huge soaring atrium replaced with the large led light fixture was a big let down in person. i was told this was to make room ...

we chose this cruise because of the date and price, anywhere in the caribbean is good for me. We hade an appointment for embarkation and it went well although there was still a good 30 min wait after check-in. Belize port has been much improved compared to two years ago, lots of security and nicer looking shops, some in a new mall. We ventured out to the street out back, bad idea , merchants ...

Feedback for Carnival Vista

Booked because of recommendation of Carnival. This has been one of the most disappointing cruises we have ever been on. They have sacrificed aAmenities in order to squeeze more cabins on board. It feels like a "no frills ship". Nothing about it is quality. It feels as though we are being gouged at every turn. Everything is extra. Spa is a disgrace. We took the Spa floor in order to use the ...

20th Carnival cruise, mostly all good, but cabin location under galley was not best for light-sleeper. Should not need medication to help sleep, but that is what I had to do- kids slept fine and husband managed without sleeping pills, although he commented nightly on the noise from above. We flew into and stayed in FLL and took SAS to the port the next day, Ordered Chinese delivery which was very ...

One Heck Of a Cruise ! Back in Sept hubby presented me with a folder titled "One Heck of a Cruise" and headed to work. Hubby is a musician and has spent many weekends/holidays on the road. I used to say to him, one day you are going to owe me one heck of a cruise. When I was handed the folder, it had print outs of 14 different cruises. I thought he wanted me to pick out the cruise I wanted. ...

Not what we hoped for in a brand new ship!

We chose the Vista simply for one reason---it was a brand new ship. We'd been on the Breeze a few years ago just months after it got to Miami and were very happy. We've now been on several Carnival ships (and NCL and Celebrity) and consider ourselves loyal CCL cruisers! First of all, let me say that a few negative things about the ship itself did NOT ruin the cruise for us! The weather was ...

Carnival Vista, Shopping Onboard

we purchased two Invicta watches onboard, supposedly they were up to 70 percent off with an additional 10 percent off the original price. We,paid $296,for one and $259 for the other only to find the same watches at home for less than half of what we paid on the ship.Carnival super inflates the original, price so you think you are getting a good deal.People beware!!! As far as the ship itself it ...
