Carnival Miami Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Great ship, poorly staffed

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

This was only my second cruise so, to be fair, I may not have a lot of experience to rely on. That said, the ship was amazing - really just beautiful, the food was very good, the amenities and entertainment were top notch. Matt, the CD, was phenomenal! However it became obvious on day one that the ship is terribly understaffed. Very long lines/waits a just about any bar and I'm not talking about ...

Steered toward younger Generation

Like everything else, this is a hit or miss for some folks. PRO: This is an action packed cruise. There is plenty to do between relax and action driven. The sky bike is awesome and definitely a try. However, this cruise is more geared toward the younger generation. The havana theme rooms decor and private pool area is definitely something to consider (see cons below though). We were 4 people ...

Not nearly enough help, dirty pool, long lines

The help was extremely hard working, racing around trying to serve you. But obviously understaffed for a ship carrying over 4,000 guests. Dining room staff was wonderful, racing around, trying to get you your food asap. But they just could not keep up. They felt awful about the wait and kept apologizing. The other food lines had the same issue. Poor guys kept apologizing to us. The ...

So I want to start out with everyone knowing that I walked onto this ship with absolutely NO expectations. I have never been on a cruise ship. I was nervous, I didn't know what to expect. My time on the vista was more than I could ever imagine. I have heard the complaints from the cruisers who are seasoned, been there and done that. I can see and understand some of your concerns (nothing was taken ...

Liked the new Boat, Loved the Skyride and Pig and Anchor Smokehouse (food)

The main reason we selected this cruise to see the new boat and all the new things on board. Everything we like and enjoy about Carnival is as we expected on the new ship. Rooms the same and Dining the same as well. Service in the dining room and in our cabin was great. The Main Theatre on this ship is smaller and seats less, and the Lounge where the comedy shows are done also seemed ...

Let me start with the Good!! Matt the cruise director is so energetic and fun!!! Plenty to activities to keep everyone busy. Food all around was wonderful. We ate at many venues and the options are fabulous Our cabin 10235 was well kept by Abraham and a quiet area of the boat. Now for the not so good, the evening activities were only OK and not many photographers around for fun candid pic ( other ...

Meeting the handsomes-John and Radu!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

This was the Bloggers 10 hot cruise and I wanted to meet John. How pleased I was to also meet Mr. Radu! The American feast is not what normal Americans eat. Not much was interesting but thoroughly enjoyed the wait staff-Indrawan and Jemius. The CD was good and the young man in charge of Bingo-Lee- was hilarious. The Glory was not my favorite ship. I think I like the smaller ships. Our cabin was at ...

Friends that have cruised previously picked this cruise and invited us. There were 13 of us total, age range 10-60. Had a good time, even with few hiccups along the way. Our cabin steward showed up first day and introduced himself. After that he was nonexistent. Spoke with others in our group and found out they saw there cabin stewards every day, multiple times. We definitely did not get ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Sensation

My wife and I travelled on the Carnival Sensation on February 4 to February 9. It was a great experience as we truly enjoyed the beauty and the nature of the Caribbean along with great staff and their outstanding service! Our cruise included two ports of calls. One was in Jamaica, where we purchased a trip to the Mystic Mountain. Another stop was at the Grand Cayman. Both places were great to ...

Disappointing cabin steward

Overall all cruise was pretty good. Our cabin steward was the worst we have ever had in 6 cruises, She did not keep cabin very clean, was hardly visible as apposed to other cruises and rarely seen actually cleaning. even after additional tipping we still need to leave notes to leave extra towels, change sheets etc.No twice a day cleaning lol. On the flip side Erick was an outstanding cruise ...
