Carnival Miami Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Despite the issue was still a wonderful trip

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Splendor

As most of you have probably heard The Splendor had a mechanical issue on the 2/26/17-3/5/17 voyage. Things happen and Carnival made things right (in our opinion). As for the ship and amenities - wonderful. Been on a number of Carnival trips and this was my favorite ship. I loved the layout. Some may say the décor is a bit gaudy but we aren't picky about that stuff. Staff kept the common ...

This was trip number 14, on Carnival Splendor. We were planning on just one trip this year with friends. We stopped at two ports and then the unthinkable happened. Some technical problems happened. Ship headed back to Miami..... I am so not happy. One of the reasons we cruise is, good food, rooms are always clean and a friendly atmosphere. Day one the bed was made with dirty sheets, I ...

We had anytime dining because we were waitlisted for early dining. Service was inconsistent and dinner took longer than what we are used to. I think the staff are taking care of too many tables. It took several times one night for my friend to get an iced tea. I am so glad that the photography went digital because when they printed them, it was such a waste. I only attended one show which was ...

Vista a disappointment

Booked on Carnival Vista because it was a new ship and like the ports.  This was my 5th Carnival cruise and have also been on Holland, Royal Caribbean and Princess, so I have been on enough cruises to compare.  Was disappointed with the Vista for several reasons.  First the good... We chose an outside cabin and they put us on the main floor, which was convenient for getting on and off the ...

After reading all the negative comments about Vista, I have to admit we were hesitant to board it. However, from the start, the trip was smooth sailing. We checked in at the airport and took the bus to the port. We had to wait less than an hour to get onto the ship. We were on board by noon, where the pool was open and food and drinks were available. Our keys to our rooms were placed in the ...

I learned more about the proper cabin choice for my family and I. Our cabins were high up and in the front of the ship. In rough water, this was a bad place to be. We felt all the motion of the ship. That being said, the medical staff was great. My daughter did not do so well with the rough seas. Overall, I thought the food was wonderful, my children were frustrated that the Pirate Pizza Shop was ...

Just returned from a short weekend getaway from Miami to Grand Turk and return. Let me state that we have cruised 12-15 times so we are knowledgeable and reasonable in our expectations. Our group had a total of 24 passengers. Hard to find much positive about the ship and the service received but that said on the positive side I was very impressed with the check in process. It was quick, ...

We chose Carnival because of the destination (Grand Turks). This cruise ship is old, smaller (which we know) and not very clean. The service was not good at all, we had to wait for tables to be cleaned in the buffet restaurant each time we visited. We had to wait 15+ minutes to be greeted by our waiter in the main dining room. The last night of the cruise my friend and I both got sick from the ...
