Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

First the good :) 1-The Balcony was WAY worth it... The room was a great size even for a family of 4. The kids loved their beds.. super comfy... 2-The location on the upper deck was awesome, never heard one neighbor 3-The Ports were AWESOME, we loved Puerto Vallarta and Cabo. 4-We bought Faster to Fun, soooo worth it... Getting in and off the boat was a breeze. 5-the Camp for the ...

This was our 2nd cruise with Carnival. We will definitely be back! Our group ranged in age from 2 to 74. We all had a wonderful time. Our grandkids loved the pool and camp carnival. The food was great. Pizza and wok was super. Ice cream was a plus! Tried a bit of everything and wasn't disappointed. Ate at the Bacchus dining room most nights. Had some very tasty meals there. My adult son enjoyed ...

Fun Ship 2.0 Upgrades Not Ready

We had 2 adults and 2 kids, 4 and 7. This is my 3rd cruise, 1st with Carnival. We got in at Long Beach at 2pm (I know, we cut it very close.) We did book the cruise transfer just in case if our plane may be delayed. Cruise transfer was on time and very comfortable. I booked this cruise early March after reading about March drydock for Fun Ship upgrades. We were especially interested in ...

This was my 2nd cruise ever, both on Carnival. The ship was perfect - particularly for the price. I really enjoyed the serenity, adults-only deck. There were many families on the ship, and it was nice, as a childless traveler, to have an area on the boat where I could be away from the kids if needed. In particular the crew on this ship was really fantastic. They really seemed to want to ...

First Cruise, Last Cruise

Shabby rooms. Poor housekeeping. Needs remodeling. It's the "Motel 6 of the 7 Seas". Went to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. Due to an ambush of local police with a local gang shooting 15 of them dead the day before we arrived, our shore excursion in PV was cancelled. We traveled a long ways to do nothing. The food is also a disappointment. True buffet quality and I don't mean that in a good way. Room ...

Wife and I, took our two teenage grandsons on the Carnival Miracle out of Long Beach to Cabo and PV. Wife and I have been on more than a dozen cruises and this was our first carnival. The Good All the crew was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. We loved the new sports bar with wide screen TV's. We watched the finals of college mens basketball as well as some Masters golf. The other ...

A much needed getaway

This was our second cruise with Carnival, first time without the family! Overall I must say I was impressed with the ship. Just out of dry dock with new Funship 2.0 upgrades, we had plenty of exciting things to do daily. The ship's interior decoration was a bit ellaborate with eccentric decorations and folklore from several fictional stories such as Moby Dick, Robin Hood, and more. The room was ...

What Happened to "Adult" Time?

Although we had a good time with our "adult" family members, we felt that the ship was overrun with kids. We went to celebrate spring break with my brother and his wife, my spouse, and our kids as a family vacation. The girls are over 18 and we are all in our late 40's - early 50's. After going through a pretty fast embarkation, we were soon encountered by all sorts of "tweens" and kids running ...

Great first cruise

After reading the onslaught of negative reviews on the Miracle, I was dreading the 7 day cruise to come. I'm sure if you're reading some of the negative ones right now, you know exactly how I felt. However, don't feel too regretful. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, flaws and all. Because this is my first cruise, I had no ideas or preconceptions of what ...

Needs Major Overhaul

We are Platium members and have cruised over 20 times with Carnival and this ship is in very poor condition. From the Pee stains that have embelished the bathroom stateroom floor to the poor quality food everywhere except for Nick and Noras steak house. This ship is to have supposed to have been refrubished in 2008 but all I can see is in the Alchemy lounge where it seems to be new.The no Smoking ...
