Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

We picked this cruise because it was a short and easy for us to get to, Our home is in Phoenix, Az. and we were traveling with my 91 year old Mother. We had traveled with Carnival in the past and were very happy with the service, restaurants, and activities. However this time the food seemed a little less that the above average we had in the past. Our ship cabin was always cleaned so that was ...

Travel agent recommended it. I am not likely to ever sail Carnival again unless a real steal. Carnival does not understand the definition of Serenity. It was as loud as the other pool areas where adults and children swam and played. The Loungers etc were all held by towels even tho the sign says do not reserve hammocks, lounges and other seats in the serenity area. I sat on a sofa and could ...

Hello again. I posted a review a week ago ("a no no cruise"). This week i took the cruise with my best friend. Embarkation process - very good. Cabin - a "no no". We had cabin 1456 on deck 1. We were next to the crew's cabins. Our cabin felt like we had an engine below us. Vibrating day and night, ugh! Steward - myrene was extra awesome! Very friendly. Addressed us every morning by our ...

Cheap quality cruise

I have been on 12 cruises in the past and 3 of those were with Carnival. After this cruise I will never sail with Carnival again! I was supposed to have early dining but when I arrived I was in late dining. Traveling with a young kid this was unacceptable. I asked 4 nights in a row to have my seating changed and the staff was extremely rude and did not care about me. In addition the food quality ...

We were pleasantly surprised by this cruise! Service was good, food was good and the Camp Carnival staff was super! Always a plus when you are traveling with just one child. We had previously cruised on Carnivals's three night trip to Catalina and Ensenada and it was horrible.... Take the 7 day cruise, it is sooooooo much better! Three take-aways: 1. Faster to the Fun pass, best ...

Somewhat Disappointed

Probable won't go on Carnival again. Nice ship, but was overall disappointed. The buffet area food was edible, at best. Dinner in the dining room was better, but really nothing stellar. Service was good. As a family of 6 didn't really have the extra money to spend on the premium restaurants. Room was typically small, but quiet and comfortable. Service was good. Entertainment was poor. You ...

Just got back from a week on the Carnival Miracle sailing from Long Beach California to Puerto Vallarta for two days and Cabo San Lucas for one night. This is my 7th cruise, second on the Carnival Miracle. This was one of the best times I’ve had and it was an amazing cruise. Parking at Long Beach cruise terminal — not good! The cost is high $19 a night and the only places we could find were ...

Extended Family Cruise -- I'm a 1st Timer

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Liberty

My extended family decided on this cruise; my aunt & uncle being frequent cruisers. This was mine and my children's first cruise. I must say -- I was thoroughly underwhelmed. The quarters were small but I expected that. The food was mostly bland and most noticeably, the cake served was literally frosting or mousse with cake crumbs added. The room rattled pretty much all day and night -- likely ...

We chose this cruise for our grandson’s graduation. There were 6 in our party. The good outweighed the bad so I'll just comment on a few items that we were not happy about. Sea days. In past cruises there were so many things to choose from to occupy our time. This cruise offered very few options on sea days so when we wanted to attend any of them they were always crowded with no seating ...

Pleasantly Surprised

I needed a one-week round-trip Los Angeles cruise on June 11th when my 2 LA-area mid-teen grandkids were available. To my surprise, Carnival was the ONLY cruise. While I frequently cruise, I had not been on Carnival in decades. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't generally like large ships but large meant except pool area seating nothing was overcrowded. Our cabin size was adequate for 3 (one ...
