Just got back from our fabulous cruise on the shiny new Carnival Vista!
Our small family included myself and my husband (DH) and our 8 year old daughter. This was our 9th cruise and our 3rd cruise with Carnival.
We had a great time! Carnival Vista is an excellent ship for families. This was an amazing cruise and my most favorite cruise so far. The ship has so many features that we were ...
I travelled with my wife, 5 year old son and 81 year old mother in law so I was worried that it would be hard to find a cruise to suit the needs of such a mixed group. My worries were unfounded.
The cabins were very nice and fairly spacious. The staff attending to the rooms were incredibly hard working and polite. I can't thank them enough. The whole family loved the towel animals that would be ...
I had not cruised with Carnival in over 10 years. As a travel agent I sell A LOT of their cruises but I personally have been a Royal Caribbean fan. We decided to check out the Vista because she looked amazing and we had been wanting to sail in Europe.
Ship:
We were very impressed with the layout of the ship. With over 4000 people sailing, no area ever felt crowded. We enjoyed the outdoor ...
I took my daughter on this cruise for her high school graduation and 18th birthday. We stayed in a Cloud 9 suite. The spa was amazing and I went there almost every day. The food was unbelievable. I'm not quite sure how people can say the food was "too fancy". Great food is great food! If you don't like steak and lobster or Beef Wellington...then just go get a pizza and cheese fries and quit ...
The cabin is very clean and convenient. The MDR food is good, service is OK, met our expectation. The port of call menu is very good, let us to taste local variety. The sky ride and sky walk are fun. The shows are few and low quality, but we are busy with trips on shore. There are not enough self service laundry as there was always a line.
Embarking was a disaster, from port entrance to pier is ...
We booked our vacation and chose to sail aboard Carnival Vista on a 10 day European cruise. We chose this ship because it was Carnival's newest ship and we got a very reasonable deal on this sailing. This cruise also offered the ports that we were wanting to visit. This cruise left from Athens, Greece and sailed for 10 nights to Barcelona, Spain. We arrived in Athens 2 days ahead of sailing and ...
We have only cruised on Carnival and had wanted to cruise the Mediterranean. When we saw the Vista was coming out in 2016 we booked the cruise within the first week.
We were very pleased with the ship. We did feel that the Atrium was not as grand with the LED funnel replacing the wide open space of other ships. The layout was very similar the the Magic and the Dream and was very easy to get ...
Should be called the Carnival Waiting, because all we seemed to do was wait for everything on the ship. Not enough elevators for the size and capacity of the ship - embarkations and disembarkations were a nightmare at every port. Not enough guest laundry facilities - lines on every floor each night so most had to wait until the middle of the night. Long wait times for activities. My kids were ...

We booked this cruise because of the itinerary. It was the best bang for your buck as far as European vacation for a family of four. We got to see all of the major tourist attractions and still enjoy a bit of the relaxation that goes with cruising. The one big downside is that there is only one sea day and it is at the beginning. If you are ...
The Carnival Vista is a real stunner, that's for certain. Gleaming white and topped with waterslides, the much-touted SkyRide and the iconic Carnival funnel, this ship certainly makes a good first impression. Having sailed on its Mediterranean itinerary, it was also the largest ship in every port we visited - something that is always a nice experience.
However, the cruise didn't begin very well ...
