Two Crowded, Too Noisy, and Too Informal

If you want to hear continuous noise, non stop fun, and watching crowded scenes of people drinking and smoking all day (there is nothing else to do) this ship is for you. The Good: The service from room stewards and food service were great. The ship is clean but pretty dated. The Bad: Port of Los Angeles is very bad. Being a Platinum member has virtually no benefits at this port. People who buy the fun-times (they pay to get to the front of the line), were let in at the same time. What's not to love about the fact that Carnival is taking the port of Galveston seriously by putting in their newest and biggest ship there? We had 4 cabins booked, two inside, one balcony and we were in Ocean Suite. The big reason we booked with Carnival again is our 11 year old granddaughter that we have taken on two prior cruises.
