Cabin was not clean the first day. We had to go to guest services and ask that they get it swept. After that it was kept clean. I liked the bathtub. It's large enough for an adult to soak a tired back. Plenty of hot water. Nice big window. Read entire member review >>
The room was very nice but the noises were horrible and they said there was nothing they could do about it. There was a knocking sound and it was 16-23 times each time every 20 minutes. HORRIBLE!! Read entire member review >>
Our stateroom was a Deluxe Oceanview on Deck 1, slept 5 & had 2 bathrooms which was great when getting ready. 4 large closets plus plenty of storage & drawers. A bar fridge & safe. There was a curtain dividing the room. Such a nice sized room for our family, bigger then our last balcony room. Read entire member review >>
First time ever having an ocean view, normally we have balconies. Never again. No real ventilation, very bottom deck, elevators always in use long wait times to go anywhere. After we were on thought well at least it will be easy to get off, WRONG....with luggage you have to go up to the 4th floor, then down to the third floor becasue , well it's like you can't get there from here if you know what i mean. Our cabin, 10202, is an accessible cabin, however it was at the end of a narrow hall and we had difficulty getting through the doorway, especially at night when our cabin steward would turn the lights off. It was mid-week before he remembered not to. There was enough room for our scooters. There were two 15” closets for hanging garments and one with shelves in addition to the few drawers at the ever-smaller vanity. Bring hangers, there are never enough! It took a while to get the room safe re-set and a working remote; and that first night, our bed was never turned down. Forget chocolates, they’re a thing of the past. A huge thanks goes to Paul from the Philippines – my husband got a new tux for this cruise and forgot to try on the pants, which weren’t hemmed! I got a sewing kit from the shops, shortened them with a nail scissors, and Paul loaned me some scotch tape so I could tape them up and hem them. He was a lifesaver! Read entire member review >>
We had the deluxe ocean view cabin. It was really nice having two restrooms since we had five family members. It would have been nice to have two toilets. Ample closet space. The overhead bunks were good. We were across from the crew work area which would be noisy at times. Overall good cabin for a family. Read entire member review >>
Nicely furnished, ok decor. There was a full sized tub which would be great for families with small kids, but we could have used the extra space for a second commode. Nice views from room and we were close to the elevators which was great as we are both disabled. Very clean and steward was excellent. Read entire member review >>
Perfect location for low noise. Gentle "hum" of the engine very relaxing. Great storage. Somehow cigarette smoke from other areas of the ship get into the ventilation and into this room. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 2476 is low and right at the back of the ship sitting right over the propellors. In any sea state if you don't like the constant hum and vibration associated with propellors then this is not the place for you. However, my wife and I would always choose this cabin as we enjoy the comforting beat of the propellors and the view down the propellor wash. These are a good size cabin, very comfortable and with ample wardrobe space. One criticism that would lead me to look at an adjacent cabin next time is there is only a single chair. On the Carnival Slpendor we had the same cabin it was slightly larger with a lounge allowing both occupants to relax in a seat at the same time in the cabin. Read entire member review >>
Corridor outside had quite a bit of engine noise but inside it was fine. The cabin was well insulated to noise and couldn't hear anything from neighbours and only minimal corridor noise. Good to have the 2 bathrooms (only one toilet though) due to 5 of us sharing. These cabins are sold as Family cabins and they did work out ok for us. Good amount of storage -again considering were 5 sharing. Well worth the cost saving to have this cabin rather than 2 adjoining or a balcony - spend the money on cocktails and excursions instead !!
