Carnival Los Angeles Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We wanted to do something Special for our 25th Anniversary and Carnival sailing out of Long Beach to Cabo San Lucas and Puerta Vallarta at a relatively inexpensive price seemed a good choice. We were wrong. They are efficient at embarkation and debarkation, The Long Beach Terminal has good covered parking if you drive to the terminal. There were good choices of shore excursions. Cabo San Lucas ...

Great Crew, Splendid Sailing

My eighth Carnival cruise was my first on Miracle, after having previously sailed on Splendor, Freedom and Inspiration. Size, decor and destination of the various Carnival ships notwithstanding, most of the cruises themselves are fairly similar and offer most of the same amenities, dining alternatives, trivia games, gambling, etc. This time out, Miracle was offering a six-night cruise from Long ...

Very Disappointed

My wife and I have cruised on Norwegian twice and this was our first time on Carnival. It was like taking a step down from what we had expected. I can only conclude that all the good reviews we read are from people who did't expect much. The ship is definitely showing it's 30+ years old, and although I read it was dry docked in 2012 for refurbishing, it doesn't show it. The rooms have not ...

It's a MIRACLE I stayed on this ship for as long as I did.

I'm going to give you a real review. It may be highly candid and critical, but it's real and not an over-embellished, best-vacation-of-my-life review because in all honesty, this was one of the worst trips I have ever been on. Carnival certainly has a customer demographic. I definitely do not fit any of these profiles. I saw at least 6 distinct groups - 1) senior citizens 2) families with small ...

great food options. dining was nice. our cabin had a great steward. some of our excursions got cancelled. the cruise was great for the family, never did we find a moment that we thought we were bored. the swimming pools were nice, but very salty. The kids club for my 16 year old was nice and he had fun there and met some cool people. We initially thought we would run out of things to do but we ...

Very Good Experience, but Caveats

We chose this cruise to celebrate our anniversary and my 65th birthday with the destination that she wanted to see since the late 1960's. We both wanted the beautiful scenery of the ports in Hawaii and since we are experienced cruisers we wanted a cruise that allowed for relaxation and wonderful and exotic ports. The ship had poor signage and it was difficult to find places for the first two ...

The Journey Cruise to Hawaii was a 15 day cruise from Los Angeles to four island ports of Hawaii, Ensenada, Mexico, and back to Los Angeles. My sister and I take a cruise once every two years to reconnect. This was the first trip across the Pacific and the longest cruise for both of us. Although it was a little choppy and cooler than I prefer, it was a blast!! The key is to participate in ...

I'm not very good at this so I'll just say we had an awesome time! We were celebrating my husband retirement, our 37th anniversary, and our son's 30th birthday. We choose this cruise because it was the one my husband wanted to do because of the number of sea days. lol The Carnival excursions we took were well done and the guides were awesome. We also took some private tours that were ...

We loved the trip. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. They remembered our names. Even in the ship stores! I was traveling with my dad and my 3 1/2 year old son. We had a balcony room. We didn't have any issues during our stay. Our embarkation was pretty quick. There was a small line that went fast. We choose to board at 2pm. I figured the rush would be over by ...

Our Romantic Honeymoon Vacation to Mexico. We enjoyed the Wraparound Balcony and also how the bed was placed, that you could see the balcony door which had morning sunrise views! We tried to go to all the shows and we had anytime dining. Food was delicious, I love crispy bacon, and they had it in abundance! There's 2 Elegant nights but my husband and I enjoyed it every night. It was great ...
