I had a great cruise on the Carnival Miracle! We arrived at Long Beach around Noon to board the ship. We had Faster to the Fun, so we were able to skip most of the line boarding the ship. Be warned, if you do not have priority boarding and you arrive around Noon, be prepared to stand in a line for around 90 minutes just to get checked in. The quality and attention to detail on this vessel was really hard to improve. The staff were well mannered and accommodating.. even under pressure and stress.! Well done for the crew selection people! Love the way the crews origin is defined on their name tag!!

This was our fourth cruise with carnival. We really enjoyed our royal caribbean cruises but don't think the extra $$$ers are worth it so we go carnival as they are much more affordable for our income. Always wanted to visit pearl harbor and love spending time out on the open seas so this cruise choice was a no brainer for us.

I have 17 cruises under my belt, three of them with Carnival. I haven't sailed Carnival since 1996 on the Jubilee. The 1996 cruise was a comparison to the Tropical that I did in 1987, the loss of quality was noticeable but not extreme. The recent cruise with Carnival again was a comparison, and unfortunately I should have listen to my thoughts of concern but took another chance with Miracle.

1. Embarkation was easy, we were some of the first guests to arrive.
2. Once on board and able to enter cabin we found dust, our traveling friends found stained linens on their bed and a shower that had not been cleaned. Service was GREAT! Pre-paid the gratuity thinking I didn't have to worry about tipping. Well that is totally wrong! The employees don't receive it! You still need to tip for all your services. Well I should say you don't have to, but the employees are so good to you, you feel you need to.

My wife and I chose to celebrate my retirement after 40 years in fire service with this 15 day cruise to Hawaii. Overall a great time with many dedicated staff members on the Carnival Miracle working to make it special. A special recognition to Joner our cabin steward. the ship was very clean and the personnel were very cordial. the food had such a wide variety, and the pizza was so tasty. lemonade was available 24/7, the room was very well kept (thanks to Mel) and the halls/corridors we kept very clean with very few room service trays cluttering them.
