This my eighth cruise overall and after a mediocre cruise to Alaska in September, my wife and I had decided to not cruise for a while and do other types of vacations. This was my 6th cruise - 5th cruise with Carnival!
This was my Husband's 1st cruise ever!
We both had a phenomenal honeymoon!
Our cabin was on the 1st floor Mid Ship and we didn't hear too much from below. We slept very well, our cabin was clean, the toilet was a little slow to flush sometimes but we kind of found that funny (we have a weird sense of humor)

Long Beach embarkation and debarkation is a shambles. I'm told this is not Carnivals fault. They blame Customs and Coast guard for the procedures at this port and that it is a training port for these services which is why lines get help up for so long.

We went to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. Never went to those places before and I'm glad I did. It was a great experience.
The ship was very nice, although as always there is room for improvement! Embarkation process at Long Beach definitely has to be improved. Mimic Miami! That should be all. They have plenty of space. Add counters at the airport (as in Miami too).

This was our 7th Carnival cruise and this ship needs a major renovation. You can see its age. We had problems with our toilet not flushing, paint is coming off of the exterior of the ship. A friend asked my to go with her and 2 other ladies. I'd been on 6 other Carnival cruises prior to this one and have been on other cruise lines after those 6. I was really disappointed.

Booked this cruise well in advance and couldn't wait to go.
Getting on the ship wasn't too bad but the Long Beach port has much to be desired. Other ports like Orlando were much easier to deal with and you weren't left standing outside waiting to get on.
