Carnival Los Angeles Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Let me say first, this was not my first Rodeo! We have cruised most lines and all over the world destinations! This cruise line is so greedy and stupid, they first cancelled my reservation for Non-Payment "from my travel agent" Not Me! Then offered me "inside cabin" when I had paid for an "extended balcony" for the same money? Really! They did finally get a regular balcony, which they ...

I had never been on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. This made cruise number 13 for me aboard Carnival ships. I enjoyed the cruise although the ship is older and smaller than some of Carnival's other ships. The decorations were a bit weird with all of that grape theme throughout the restaurants. The food was good. The entertainment was a waste of time. The vast majority of personnel aboard the ...

Great trip down the Mexican Baja and coast of Mexico

We love Mexico and are frequent travelers to the Cancun & Mexican Riviera area. Since we had never been to Cabo or Mazatlán (& we love Puerto Vallarta), we took this cruise with friends. This was our 3rd Carnival cruise but it had been at least 7 years since we sailed with them. There was something called FPTF (Fast Pass To Fun) on their excursion listings, but I really wasn't sure what it was ...

We don't usually cruise Carnival maybe (8 times) but it suited us this time. I'm a long time cruiser with over 50 cruise. Don't stick to any one cruise line as I don't like playing the status designations. If they want to give me something, then I'll take it. But I'm not going to pick a particular cruise line because of my status. That being said. Just got back from Mexican Riviera today. As ...

Planned a surprised for my hubby trip to meet up with friends and had a great time! The pluses were: - no wait at the buffet which was always well stocked and fresh - Service staff in the dining room (Dio and Lasitter were very attentive and remembered all of our favorites!!) and helped us celebrate our various anniversaries and bdays which seemed to be every night!!! - OUR stateroom ...

Why not Carnival?

My wife and I took the Mexican Riviera cruise from Long Beach for our anniversary. We chose this cruise because we love Mexico, but mostly because we live in Long Beach and skipping a flight to Houston or Miami saved us a ton of time and money. And the cruise port is 15 minutes from our house. So, this was an easy choice. We have cruised once before with Carnival, and once with Norwegian, so ...

What can I say? This was a wonderful cruise. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. I especially liked the Nick and Nora steakhouse – it was amazing! There was lots to do on the ship , Never boring. I had the best mac & cheese I've ever had during the brunch at Sea. The Dr. Seuss breakfast was a lot of fun and well worth the five dollars. Shows were entertaining as were the comedians. ...

This cruise was for my husbands birthday, a couple friends came with us. We had a great time, the service was pretty amazing too. There were never really any waits for drinks. The highlight of the cruise certainly was the cruise director staff. Chloe the cruise director is like the energizer bunny. That girl never stops and is at almost all shows, events and games. J-swift was so incredibly ...

Worst cruise ship we've ever been on

We've been on two other Carnival cruises on different ships each time. This by far was our worst experience cruising. It was our honeymoon cruise so we booked a balcony room on the 7th floor so we could enjoy the views from the balcony. To start with the fridge in the room didn't work so it took them two days to replace it. The bathroom light fixture above the sink had dead moths laying in ...

Wife booked this cruise and we had 8 total in our group and 3 cabins. Upon casual glance about the ship it seemed oddly laid out and to me there seemed to be a lot of wasted space. By that, I mean areas that were rarely used by anyone unless they were waiting for something else. Meaning, one area, looked really nice, but the only time I saw anyone sitting there was when they were waiting to ...
