Our AC needed a tune up but the room was very well kept our stateroom steward knew us by name and he was very friendly. The room could use some upgrades the bed was hard and the carpet was stained. Read entire member review >>
We initially booked an interior cabin on a lower level, but Carnival emailed us an offer to upgrade to this cabin on the Spa deck with a balcony for a reasonable amount, so we took it. We had two single beds put together into one large one for the adults. Our children essentially had bunk beds - one drops from the ceiling and the other is converted from a seating area. The room was small, but large enough for us all to dress and do what we had to do during the short time we spent in the room. We enjoyed the balcony and having it's light and constant view available to enjoy and relax on at anytime. Our room steward was awesome - he kept it clean, was friendly and available and did a great job making the fun towel animals for us every night. We really enjoyed this cabin location as well - it was very close to the Spa/gym, and the main pool /buffet / ice cream area. As my girls were getting ready in the cabin for a fancy dinner, I was able to hit the gym, grab a shower and get dressed right next door by the Spa. My only complaint was that on the last day everyone must have been showering about the same time because we did find ourselves without hot water. Otherwise, the cabin itself was perfect for us on this trip. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 6442 had lots of closet space and storage space for my friend and I. The balcony was large with plenty od sitting space. It came with a full size deck chair like you find in any of the public areas of the ship and also had 2 regular size chairs and 2 small tables. The cabin is located directly above the nightclub and you hear and feel the music quite well. Read entire member review >>
Nice and clean room. Not sure why it says extended balcony. Not any bigger than the standard from what I remember. If you are worried about not getting use of balcony due to rain. Then don't choose this room.It is not covered. Luckily it didn't effect us. It did rain but we were either sleeping or doing something else. I liked the room for it was quiet and convenient to Camp Carnival and not too far from Lido. Would choose it again. Didn't feel hardly any movement. Read entire member review >>
Large balcony, though you give up a couch in the room to get it. Piano bar is beneath, and you could hear it early evening (7-9 pm), but by 10 or 11, the party had moved elsewhere. We never had the noise disturb our sleep at all. Read entire member review >>
My room 8454 and my Daughters room 8391 was very loud. You could here every chair move on Lido deck. Our room was an Aft extended Balcony the Balcony was nice. I think lower than 8 on the Aft rooms may have ash problems. I would not recommend and aft room although my wife licked the bigger balcony Read entire member review >>
Big cabin with tons of storage. Loved the view. Bed was a bit hard for my taste. WE could walk around the cabin without any problem.
Proximity to the spa was great. My husband took many of his showers there so he could get some alone time from wife and 2 daughters. A good option for the odd gendered out parent.
There was a little noise from deck chairs being placed out on 12 each early am, wear ear plugs.
A bit of noise too from kids coming out of late night Carnival club. 1101 may be a quieter cabin than 1105, just a bit further back from the stairs. Read entire member review >>
Great balcony, nice views, noisy in the hallways, since the elevators are right there and you can hear the 'ding' the elevators make all the time. Enough space for 3 people. Read entire member review >>
Cabins on the back of the ship have a larger balcony but the cabin was very narrow. The doorway was only about 2 1/2 feet wide and you couldn't even get the suitcases through. Could not open a closet door and the bathroom door at the same time. Not much closet space and not enough hangars. Very noisy due to the club below. Read entire member review >>
