Perfect for Toddler's First Cruise
"Sadly, service took so long that the daycare called bc our kiddo was tired resulting in them keeping my steak "warm" for me as the food was just coming out - at 10 pm - by the time I could back with my kiddo snoozing in her stroller, it was cooked way over done.It was a great ship for our toddler's first cruise - small, easy to navigate, etc...."Read More

Old and tired

My wife and I wanted to relax and clear our heads from some recent events and Costco had a decent offer for us. I'm just going to bullet point the main items and let everyone fill in the rest. * The ship is in need of a big refresh. It is old and tired. Many small items......to many to mention, just hit a few big ones. * Elevators were possessed. Press a floor button, doors close, feels ...

We booked the Legend for its embarkation port (Baltimore is 1.5 hours from us), itinerary (just Bermuda - a place we've been before and LOVED), and size of ship as it was our 2-year-old's first cruise (and our first cruise as parents). I read a ton of reviews, looked at a ton of pictures, and watched a million videos - so I knew exactly what to expect from the ship. Embarkation was a breeze. ...

We chose the Carnival Legend from Baltimore to Bermuda because it was only a 2 hour drive from NJ, the dates worked well for us, and we did not want to fly to a cruise port as we did previously. This is our 3rd time cruising on Carnival (we have also cruised Royal) and this ship would rank 3rd if we ranked all 3 Carnival ships we have been on. I guess the theme here is "lowered expectations". ...

We wanted to travel to Bermuda. This port was about 6 hours away from our home so we chose this ship. Getting to Port and parking was very easy. Check in for loading was painless. Then we began experiencing issues. Upon arrival at our room we were greeted with fans and furniture upside down. There had been a leak and no one thought we needed to know. We looked for someone to assist us for ...

Just back from the Carnival Legend 4/23/04 through 4/29/04. Warning: This review is long and even though it sounds a bit hostile, I had a great time. There were 9 of us total (4 adults 4 teens, 1 nine year old) in 3 Category 8 H with balconies on the Panorama Deck. We drove to NYC, and it took no more than 6 hours from NH. The port was very easy to find. We dropped off all bags and dad went to ...

Carnival Legend - Bermuda

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this ship overall a "6". This is me and my husbands, fourth cruise (2nd with Carnival). Decor of the ship was beautiful, however, the food was not as good as I would of expected. The food in the Unicorn Cafe (alternate dining) was greasy and not much better than buffets around my own home. The main dining room food for dinner was better, however, I felt rushed ...
