Carnival Jacksonville Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

I just finished a cruise 10-21 on Elation. Overall, a great cruise for us. We had an OV on deck 4. We did experience very low water pressure the first night in our sink (shower was fine). We asked our stateroom attendant about it the next afternoon, and later the night it was fixed. Our a/c did fine, but we also take a small box type fan with us for circulation. We also noticed some of the ...

There were a few good things to mention about this cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful...especially the wait staff in Imagination restaurant. We elected to eat here at night because their other restaurant reminded us of a cafeteria. We want to especially thank Jose and his staff for being so accommodating, and Lorinel who went out of her way to welcome us every night. We also enjoyed ...

Cruise Recap Pros- Childcare was awesome. All 4 kids loved it. Dining room meals. I loved it. Waiters were great. My kids danced every night we went 3 times. My small room was perfect. No window actually made naps easy. Half moon cay was so relaxing. Perfect water and sand. Lido breakfast was tasty and easy. Cons They were repairing the ship everyday! Painting, ...

This was a fundraiser cruise for a children's hospital organization and a large group of our friends were going. This was our first cruise. It was nothing more exciting than I expected it to be. The embarkation was rough because the ship just came out of dry dock and whoever was in charge of making that transition smooth did not do a very good job. For it to had been renovated it didn't feel ...

Horrible. Carnival should of never let people on this ship right out of dry dock. Things on the ship were not working correctly. The AC, the toilets, the water, the pool was broken one day. There were shipyard workers all over the ship working because the boat was not done. There were construction noises every where you went. not exactly relaxing. We had water coming out of our light fixture in ...

We smelled burnt oil during this cruise and had power outages. The food on the bar was cold and not good quality, breakfast in particular. The dining room food was ok. Horrible experience at port when we returned(unorganized). The cushions at the Serenity section of the ship were terribly stained. Did not have towel animals, although it is stated will have these daily. The information about ...

This was an awesome cruise. Must say I most enjoyed the cruise director, Kevin Donahue. He was hilarious and seemed to be full of energy, as he was involved with everything. Would go again just to see Kevin perform 80's music. Entertainment was great. The pools are not the greatest. Lines were sometimes quite long. The dining experience was very enjoyable. Awesome Carnival melting chocolate ...

This was a family cruise with our four teens and mother who is in her 70's. We were looking for a relaxing vacation for everyone and this fit the bill. We shared 3 inside cabins and had no issues with any of these. Wife and I took a Holland America Alaska cruise in August so it was good to compare the two. The Elation exceeded the HAL ship in the FUN category. There were more fun events, fun ...
