Carnival Jacksonville Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

We chose this cruise for The Southern Gospel Singing groups, Jeff and Sheri Easter, The Hoppers, The Whisenants, The Talley’s, Ivan Parker, Karen Peck and New River and more!!!!!!!!! The concerts were great and well organized. The preaching by Herb Reavis was outstanding!!!!!!! The food in The Inspiration Restaurant was very good, but it was a long wait to get our order. The food at the ...

We chose this cruise because it was close to home and sounded like a fun get away. While it was nice weather to lay out in, there wasn't much to do. The DJ's did a great job playing music that was fairly family friendly. However, some of the games were inappropriate for children to watch. Due to the windier colder temps we stayed down on the main pool deck. During that time, we had to leave the ...

Elation to Half Moon Cay

Wanting to return to Half Moon Cay, we booked this cruise. We sailed on the Elation 2 years ago out of New Orleans to Cozumel, and the old girl was showing her age. Her recent drydock and redo did wonders. The updates have made a huge difference in her appearance and amenities. Embarkation in JAX was smooth and easy as usual. FTTF really comes in handy by the way. The hotel we stayed at ...

We chose this cruise because there were multiple cabins being booked and the price was great. We selected this specific cruise because of the stop in Half Moon Cay instead of Freeport. We were taking our parents ashes to be spread at sea and the crew did a wonderful job at working all of that out for us. There were 8 of us cruising. My husband and me, my sister and B-I-L, Daughter and S-I-L ...

My husband and I recently moved to Jacksonville and were looking for a quick get away. Since he had never been on a cruise before and Carnival had a port right in Jacksonville, we choose to travel on a 5 day cruise. We couldn't be happier with the events as follows: It was an easy process with embarkation. Since we already had our time to arrive window and our boarding passes, it was easy to ...

This was our 2nd cruise, the first was in 2013 on the Fascination. The first disclaimer, as many have heard, a passenger died on the first night of this cruise so that may have impacted anything I found to be strange. We had a great time on this cruise, I can say that I enjoyed the level of entertainment, the trivia, the food etc. Some small touches that were missing from last time that I ...

Surprised by the Newly Refurbished Carnival

A few years back I sailed on Carnival from Charleston and was very disappointed by the overall lack of quality on board, especially in dinning options. But three friends and I needed a break after the holidays so we booked 5days on Elation. I was so surprised by the changes Carnival has made. The ship was newly out of dry dock last October and in perfect condition. The cabin was fresh and clean ...

NEVER again are we going on #carnival cruises and I recommend to all my friends NEVER to cruise with them. #carnivalsucks. Recently we went on the #ElationCarnival. One of our friends stayed in a suite which smelled like sewer through-out the stay. According to the staff, this suite has been smelling like this (U101) for some time now. His kids did not want to stay in the room because of the ...

Great fun for all

This was our first family cruise. We chose Carnival Elation as the dates and location worked for us. We flew from Toronto to Jacksonville and stayed at Jacksonville Plaza. Their shuttle was half the price of that offered through Carnival. Our room was tight with four. I traveled with three children: 15, 20 and 23. Two rooms was not an option due to children's ages as at least one person per ...

We really enjoyed how friendly and helpful the crew was on this holiday cruise. From BK's inspiring Christmas service to the kind smile and patience of our cabin steward Imade, the attitude of the crew was familial and polite. I was glad to see Santa as soon as we stepped on to the ship and I loved seeing the grinch dancing with the Fun Squad at the deck party on our first night. We enjoyed that ...
