This is cruise we were looking forward to for a couple of years. Cruised from Long Beach terminal and was surprised how easy is was to embark. We spent 2 days in Long Beach prior to boarding the ship. The free bus around Long Beach was very useful - really did not need a car. We had flown into LAX and then took Uber to the Queen Mary. Uber was a great experience - our first time using this service. Recommend it highly - cost was less then cost of the shuttles. We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary and not wanting to fly all the way to Hawaii. We stayed on the Queen Mary the night before in Long Beach which was great.
