Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This was the first cruise for our Homeschool. We travel to Galveston one day before departure. Galveston was great. We enjoyed the food and shopping in the expensive shops. The next day at embarkation went extremely well. Every step in the embarkation brought more excitement to the children. There were about 25 homeschoolers traveling. The people were very friendly. The crew on the ship ...

We went on a cruise to the western Carribian with stops in Cozumel, Belize, and Isla Roatan on the Carnival Freedom. Boarding was so easy this time we were on the ship in less than half an hour from the time we arrived at the cruise terminal. Since we booked a suite, we received priority boarding. I cannot tell you how much we loved our cabin. It was huge! Closet space enough for the worst ...

Decent Cruise

Let me preface this with the fact that we have cruised on many boats and have lived in central America as well as France. My wife and I were overall very happy with this cruise. The boats décor is sub-par and confusing. Layout is OK, Serenity deck is quite large with 2 hot tubs. Everyone that gave us service were GREAT ,so that made up for the weird décor. And contrary to many reviews, ...

Dining: look for Corina and her team in the Sapphire, outstanding service provided (I ended up consuming 3 lobsters in the Elegant night), ask for her table, you will not be disappointed. Guy's burger was great! I did not try it the first time while I was on the Breeze, but this time I ate several despite of my wife's yelling (watch your weight). Casino: One Blackjack table had dealer ...

We had to be in Port Aransas for a wedding, Port A terribly expensive for condo rentals, decided to drive to Galveston and try a Carnival Cruise. The Breeze was coming out of dry dock, its itinerary were places we had never visited. The ship was in good shape, the staff were amazing and the cruise director Steven "Schwartz" made it most memorable! He made sure everyone of every age was having a ...

Beautiful ship - some things could be better

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Freedom

We live in Texas and like the convenience of driving down to Galveston and not having to fly. Wanted to hit Key West this time, so this cruise fit the bill. This is about my 9th cruise, so I think my expectations are reasonable. General: It's a beautiful, large ship with lots of amenities. All areas are well-maintained. Our goal was a relaxing time with family, so we had a pretty good time. ...

We typically sail out of Galveston for convenience. We had not been to Key West or the Bahamas so this sailing worked perfect. Embarkation was smooth ... disembarkation needs some improvement. The ship was beautiful. Dining staff (Letty, Ron and Jan) were excellent. The Steakhouse was well worth the $35 pp charge. Entertainment was good with the exception of just one of several comedians. ...
