Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Wife and I have only been on one previous cruise (Diamond Princess) prior to the Carnival Breeze. We have always heard about Carnival being the budget party boat and have neglected to take a Carnival ship. Since moving to Texas we have heard generally good comments about the Breeze. We decided to take a Caribbean cruise and take our Nieces and Nephew along. Price point was attractive along ...

I chose this cruise for the ship. This was the biggest ship we have been on and it did not disappoint. The shows were great, the comedians were hilarious and the food was fantastic. The maître d went out of his way to accommodate a special request from my daughter. The wait staff was funny and friendly and made diner time a wonderful experience. If you find a waiter/waitress that you like, be sure ...

This 7 day cruise is just what my wife and I needed to get away from hectic jobs and city life. The crew of the Freedom is top notch, everyone is very nice and always greeted you when they pass you by. I have to give a shout out to our awesome head waiter Kevin and his crew in the Posh dining room, they were fantastic. Kevin makes sure he knows you by your first name on the first visit. The food ...

Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel

Actually my son chose this cruise. He picked the Family Adventure at Good Hope Estate in Jamaica as a safe excursion for his young daughters. It was ok. The bus ride to the estate was interesting but I would have liked to go through a small Jamaican village away from the coast. At Grand Cayman we went to "hell" which was smaller than I anticipated, then we .went to the turtle farm which was ...

Not my first cruise but my first cruise with Carnival. The layout of the ship was awful. The casino is on deck 5 in the middle surrounded by clubs. So to get to any of the clubs you had to walk past the casino and all the cigarette smoke. The top deck was split, to go from top aft to top forward you had to go down two floors then back up again. I absolutely hated the set dining time but liked the ...

Something for Everyone

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

My husband, 15-year-old daughter and I took the shorter cruise on Carnival Valor to Cozumel. We had a really outstanding time. We're not 'crowd' people and were concerned about our ability to deal with 3000 of our fellow human beings but you can be as inclusive or reclusive as you want. We caught a few of the shows, did a little shopping on board and just generally relaxed and enjoyed the ride. ...

Restaurants seems like a cafeteria, no linen on table. Once you were served you entrée, it was difficult to get the attention of a server to bring additional bread, butter or any other item you might need. Servers danced on tables during dinner. This was part of the "entertainment". On the Lido deck in the buffet the glasses were small plastic ones like a toddler would use on the and no servers ...

I went on this cruise because I was invited to go with some of my cousins. This was my 5th cruise and their 1st cruise. I read some reviews saying the theme is outdated. Me being a patriotic American, I liked the theme. It was based on American History. My chief complaint is the smoking area. It is on the Main floor where the casino, all the shops and photos ...

We chose this cruise because it fit our time constraint. The boarding process was a bit chaotic, especially since we travelled with my 77 year old mother and her wheel chair escort did not know what to do or where to go, he kept asking us: "where to now?" Eventually we made it on, and thanks to his ineptitude he let us keep the wheel chair once we boarded; this we found out was a Godsend. Maybe ...

Had fabulous family reunion. So much to do for young ones and old ones! Everyone from the moment we boarded ship from the time we disembarked were absolutely wonderful. The excursions were were fun and informative. Angel and his crew on the snorkling trip were very knowledgable and made all feel safe. The photo/foodie tour with claudia was very informative and fun as she knew all her history!!! ...
