Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Average cruise experience - not extraordinary at all

We did not choose the cruise first off - daughter got married on board. That part of the trip was not too bad. Rooms were quite tight and not particularly cheap for the value to cost ratio. In face we did order a lower level room (seasick wife) but we could barely turn around. Was a balcony room so paid more for that but could hardly turn around. Everything costs extra unless you pay ...

We always cruise on my Husband's Birthday and this was the only Ship out of Galveston that we could get an accessible Stateroom on. We drove to Galveston on the day of the Cruise, since we had sailed out of Galveston several times and there was no need to explore the city again. Checkin was rather speedy and we were in our Stateroom shortly thereafter. Breakfast in the Lido was good, so ...

This was a last minute cruise booked for me and my husband after getting off of Elation in August 2017. It was a great (book within 2 weeks) deal that we could not pass up. Not to mention it was Carnival Live with Chris Tucker (my favorite comedian of all time).Well who would have thought a couple of major Hurricanes would have occurred before we sailed. We were worried because one of our ports ...

Cruising on the Breeze after Irma

We chose this cruise to the eastern Caribbean because we wanted to go to Key West, which was supposed to be our first port of call. Unfortunately, that was cancelled due to the devastation of Irma. So, we had an extra "fun day at sea" on our way to the Bahamas.. We didn't really have much fun on the sea days, but maybe we just didn't try hard enough? The evening shows were very good, we did enjoy ...

We chose this cruise for the ports. Unfortunately Key West out due to the Hurricane Freeport was not good nothing close. To ship Nassau was a great stop. So really it was a one port cruise We wanted to try a bigger ship so the Breeze was a good choice. The crew were very friendly and helpful. We had my time dinning and we're lucky to have the same team wait on us each night. We food ...

Looking for a relaxing vacation

Booked about 2 months before and looking for a relaxing cruise without too many children running around. Average age on this cruise was 40-60 years old. The biggest group on board were the Players Club (gamblers) who spent most of their time in the casino, buffet and the small outdoor area where they could smoke. They also filled the casino (mid deck 5) with smoke. We could smell it in our ...

Chose this cruise due to location of port, the port of calls, the length, the time of year and cost. No bad weather whatsoever, there were two hurricanes that could have affected us but the were in the eastern Caribbean. Cabin: We started with an inside cabin on deck two and decided to got to deck 8 with a balcony. After realizing that we'd be under the Lido deck, we switched to deck . We ...

Some good points, some bad points

This cruise had good points and bad points. First, the food was good as always and the staff friendly for the most part. We loved our dining room hostess, Maria. Couldn't ask for better service. Bad points: we paid $160 dollars for internet service that was literally poor as it could get. Best you could hope for was maybe email and Facebook. Forget loading anything. Definitely not worth the ...

We were scheduled to sail to Key West, Nassau and Freeport, but Irma changed our itinerary to Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel. We were lucky to get to sail at all; the itinerary change was disappointing, but we wanted to sail very badly. We do not like the American Table. Our room was warm to hot every night even with the fan provided by Carnival. Guest services was exceptional and helped us ...
