Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

Never cruised, picked for location, and then picked for destination. The Valor was fabulous, it had everything I needed. Went above and beyond for my expectations. I would love to set sail on the Valor again. The crew was great as well. Always had a smile on their faces. The port of Galveston was easy to get on and off. We went at 1:30pm and had absolutely no lines or issues. We carried our ...

Great Ship, Great Crew!

We chose this cruise specifically because we wanted to go on a Bahamas Itinerary and needed a ship that cruised from close to our home in Oklahoma. We basically have two options for ports: Galveston and NOLA. We have sailed out of NOLA once and will never do that again, so we decided to try out Galveston and it was AMAZING. The embarkation process was SO EASY and not stressful at all. We parked ...

Another great Carnival cruise on the Freedom. My 10th cruise on Carnival. Service can make or break a cruise and we had the best service we have had since the Conquest in 2003. From the Dining Room wait staff of Armando, Jan and Alvin to the Room Steward Romel. These guys along with an accommodating maitre d' that reassigned our seating to our liking. The ship is nice and clean with a beautiful ...

overall the breeze is nice, the service was good but not great. but a good relaxing time, if there was one thing I would change it would the cruise dir. really never saw or got people excited. now if the one from Fantasy ship was there I feel it would make the ship rock! many of the staff seem over worked and pushed to the limits but always said good morning. I wish they would take a step ...

We needed a cruise with our cruising buddies. The port is close to home, only a hour and half away. Embarkation was a Breeze (pun intended). Stateroom was great, two separate bathrooms, only one toilet. Had plenty of room to unpack clothes. The shows were great entertainment. Enjoyed the wait staff , especially Tomislav, Bernard, and Dinar in MDR. Only excursion was cancelled because of too much ...

Stage shows were very good and got better as they progressed thru the cruise

We had to cancel a proposed Alaska cruise due to a conflict with the birth of our grand daughter. This cruise was selected for R & R as a substitute. It worked out very nicely. The crew was very attentive . The stage shows were great and the performers were full of energy and smiles throughout the performances. We chose to sit up front for every show. Two of our three chosen excursions were ...

This was our first cruise and it definitely gave us high expectations for future cruises! The cruise director, Mike, was the best we could have asked for! His energy was contagious and he seemed to be everywhere at once! Our room stewardess, Nataliya, exceeded our expectations! She called us by name after the first day and, even though we only asked to have our room cleaned once a day, it was ...

Cozumel Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

The cruise was chosen by another family member because of price and port. We were going for something that everyone could afford and that was out of Galveston. In Cozumel we only did the local shopping area, while others of our group rented a car online (much cheaper) and drove around the island to a beach to snorkel. In Progresso some of our group went on a private tour which included ...

This was our very first cruise, so our nerves were high with excitement. The boarding process was relativity easy. We decided to get the indoor parking which shuttled us to the dock. The shuttle drivers and porters were very courteous and helpful. Upon boarding the ship everything was clean and lively. Waiting on an elevator was a pain, but to be expected on the first day. We booked an ...

Great staff on the Valor

We were especially pleased with the extra care given to us by the American Lobby bar staff. Napa was her name and I think he spelled his name Putra. They were always smiling and ready to help us. Our head waiter in the dining room was Philip. His team gave us excellent service in the Lincoln dining room. The seas were rough, but the cruise was a wonderful experience. This was our 7th ...
