Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

I chose this cruise because when I went some years ago I was on a walker and in wheel chair but on another ship. The entertainment was not good and people didn’t respect the smoking areas me and my husband has asthma and we had to keep tell the people’s that bring the drinks and if we didn’t say anything they didn’t either. My husband wanted to go in the casino but the smoke was so bad. And dI ...

Good Cruise with Disappointments

Carnival is still our cruise lines of choice after experiencing five cruises, three of which have been with Carnival. The ship, Breeze, has beautiful décor throughout, its staff provide superior service and are very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent in the dining rooms, buffets, specialty restaurants and cafes. The overall price was competitive with others in the cruise industry. Our ...

I sailed the Valor back in March 2017 with a friend and it was awesome. We had the best time. This cruise was with my husband. We sail Carnival because we have a wonderful time and we LOVE!!!! LOVE!!! the Alchemy Bar & Steakhouse. We have always sailed out of Galveston and the 5 day sailing work the best for us. We had a wonderful and relaxing time on Lady Valor. Enjoyed all the food and drinks. ...

So many cutbacks since our last Carnival cruise

We had previously taken a Carnival cruise and were really happy with the experience. This cruise was failure after failure. The food has gone down hill considerably since our last cruise. The best part was probably the camp carnival, our daughter loved it. I'm not sure what the worst was, my wife found a pubic looking hair in her frog legs. They lost our alcohol purchase temporarily (it was ...

Well, we just got back from our 5 day cruise on the Carnival Valor. A nice ship, and the exact same layout as the Conquest, with one exception.....a very odd decor. On the subject of Carnival drink packages, one thing they do not tell you is that the package **doesn't start until day 2**. So your pina coladas will cost you on day 1. The drink package limits you to 15 drinks a day. For ...

I want to write this review in hopes to help you enjoy your cruise just like my family and I did. I did a lot of research before I picked a stateroom on the Carnival Breeze. In my opinion location matters, and if your looking for the same then look into rooms that are close to elevator access. I've heard bad things about this if you have an inside cabin that back up to an elevator but if you are ...

We did this cruise last year with 7 of us and loved it. This year there were 10 of us. We had the cove balconies . Some of the cabins were under the kitchen and were very noisy around 3 a.m. . Cabins 2397-2405 .. The cabins were clean and it was really nice being on the second level But beside the noise the cruise was great. Our wait staff were phenomenal. Table 508 Blush. Imade,Ynoman,Ynoman ...

My husband and I were on the Breeze over Halloween. We were on the Breeze last year, as well, for Halloween. So, we knew what to expect. Pros: Overall, we had a good time. We really enjoyed Mike, the Cruise Director (or whatever they're called these days). We had excellent service in the dining room. Adi and his team were the best! And, we enjoyed the comedians, the production show Flick, and ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Freedom

User Avatar

After taking a similar cruise a couple of years ago, I wanted to see the NEW Panama Canal. And I did, at least 3 locks and the lake in the middle. Other than that, this was not a good cruise. Check-in has been streamlined at Galveston, but it is still somewhat confusing and some people who were scheduled to check in much later that we were actually got through faster than we did - although we ...

Another Halloween cruise with friends, plus another Journey cruise. Ship went thru new locks, entered lake and turned around and waited it's turn to exit. Visited several ports along the 14 day cruise. Dutch West Indies are our favorite. We have tranversed the canal before, but not the new canal. The ship is showing it's age and the workers are tired. Looks to me the staff has been reduced at the ...
