Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

It's fine, but Carnival misses on details

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

Carnival is the least expensive cruise line for a reason. They miss the details, and everything's just...not quite right. The app is great for keeping in touch...when it works. Missed messages were common among our party of 8. And WiFi coverage on lower deck staterooms is awful, making that problem worse. Kids' area is sparse compared to my experiences on Royal Carribbean. Much less ...

Ropes Course is great

Departure location. Wish it went to somewhere other than Montego Bay. It is about our only cruise port since it is a 12 hour drive. Had fun on the ropes course but scared me to death. A rocking ship and rope under your feet isn't stable. Oh well, I survived. Dining room staff was excellent. We stayed with the same waiter, Fernando in the Sapphire Dining. Bar staff at the Red Frog Rum ...

Carnival Breeze Embark from Galveston 7 day Western Caribbean itinerary 5 adults in our party, 3 cabins (balcony) Cruise departure date: 12/10/2017 Please note that I am not normally a complainer. I am hoping that Carnival will read this review and improve their services. I have cruised with other cruise lines and had no cause to complain about the other cruises on those cruise ...

. we picked this cruise because we had shopped around late in the season and wanted to celebrate our anniversary and our kids adoption day. The Cabins were pretty good, the stewards that took care of us were great, they did a great job. dining was mixed, we had a great wait staff, but the food has gone down in taste and value. We have had a lot better. one thing that was not up to par ...

Great Cruise on the Freedom

The ship was nicely decorated for Christmas. This was our first cruise on the Freedom and we immediately loved the decor and the color scheme. On the way to Galveston Carnival called us and said they had a room upgrade available and would we be interested. We took the upgrade from an ocean suite to a grand suite. The room was plenty big, more storage and closet space than we could use. Nice ...

Great week cruising the Caribbean

Enjoy cruising in December between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Temps are great and the crowds are smaller. Our steward Denys was the best steward we ever had, quite the nice experience! Did the Chef's table and found out that the menu was EXACTLY the same as it was last year, I would have thought they would mix it up somewhat. That being said, the meal was still excellent! The ...

I usually don't cruise in December but when Hurricane Harvey messed up my camping plans at Port Aransas I decided I needed something to do. The cost for the Freedom at that time was very good, so I signed up. (I usually cruise alone.) That was my first time going through Carnival's new boarding procedure. It was great how fast I went through TSA and then right to my cabin. Platinum and ...

I have to say to start off with..I am now a cruiser for life. We choose this cruise for the cost and time of year. It was a fundraising cruise for my sons Special Olympics sport team. We found out Carnival Cruise lines offer this and decided to try it out. We spent several months submitting paperwork to get it approved..with lots of humps in the road..but finally got it done. I am very glad we ...

We chose this cruise because our family invited us. We did have a lot of laughs with our family but I would not recommend this cruise line. The ship was dirty, as was our stateroom. The shower would not drain which is disgusting! There were blood stains on the walls. Our room steward was very nice but could've paid more attention to small details. They ran out of bottled water halfway thru the ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

We chose this cruise because of the price and booked a suite. The cabin in and of itself was fine. Not impressed by the food or stateroom service. They only service the rooms once a day. (Royal does 2 times daily) and they only serviced it 3 out of 5 nights. The only good food was the Guy's burger place, but they closed at 6. Not many options after 6. Lido buffet did not appeal to me and the ...
