Carnival Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Great Time on the Conquest

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Conquest

I had read other reviews here about Carnival Conquest, but we picked the ship for the ports, not necessarily the ship itself and were surprised with both. Ft. Lauderdale- Day 1 Embarkation was pretty easy. Once you got in line for them to check your passports and boarding pass, we walked around the corner to the metal detectors, similar to what you would see in the airport. A quick 3 mins here ...

Transportation from FLL to Port Everglades was a cinch. There was a line to wait for taxis, but there were plenty of shuttles available too. Our cost was $10/each for a shuttle - the driver was walking down the line of passengers asking if anyone would like a shuttle instead. So, $20 plus a $5 tip to handle our luggage, wasn't so bad. On the return, we grabbed a cab that cost a total of $19, ...

Nov 22-28, 2015 Thanksgiving Cruise Fort Lauderdale, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel 12 Cabins We were mostly from South Carolina so we drove down on Saturday and spent the night in Stuart, FL which was about 1.5 hours from the port. Hotels were less expensive north of the port and Stuart, FL was close enough that it was a very short drive the next morning. Ttravelling most of the way ...

I am big on objectivity in reviews, so I am going to try to point out as much as possible so hopefully it will help anyone reading this. Also, I like to cover only the things the cruise line has control over. Not weather, or bad service by someone at the gas station where I filled up on the way in like some do. First off, a little about myself. This was my 11th Carnival Cruise and 13th total ...

OK - We got this cruise package at a fantastic price, (one night in Fort Lauderdale Marina Hilton/Manchester Direct Flights and 8 nights cruising), but having read the reviews on line AFTER we had booked I was thinking OH DEAR.....what have I done. DO NOT WORRY!! I have to say that compared to a Med Cruise this ship was absolutely fantastic (and huge) Honestly, the amount of griping on ...

Our first experience with Carnival and probably our last, and not because of the vessel, crew or cuisine. More about that below. Purchasing and pre-purchasing items/excursions on line was great. Check in and boarding was a breeze. The Crew was professional, courteous and helpful. Never saw the Captain, heard him over the intercom twice. Never saw any senior offices other than the ...

This was our 2nd time on the Conquest. We did back to back 6/8 day out of Ft.lauderdale (our favorite port), 1st time was 7 day out of New Orleans, and our 15th cruises overall. My wife and I cruise about twice a yr. Embarkation: flew in night before late and stayed at a Days Inn w/ free airport/cruise port shuttle. Arrived at port around 10:45 and were able to board around 11:45. Cabin was ...

No more Conquest or Carnival for me....

The cruise was not bad...the ship WAS bad. It is old and dirty and shows in many ways. I wrote the cabin review below so I will skip most of that. This ship is not kept up like it should be. I have sailed on other Carnival ships and was not as disgusted as this one made me. First of all, I had kind of heard it was a Party Boat...and yes... it certainly is. I have never seen more drunk and ...

My third and likely last Carnival cruise. Let's stars with boarding... going thru security and check-in were painless. And then we were sent to stand packed a waiting room for quite a long time before we could board... I mean come on... seriously Carnival? Next came the muster drill... the absolute WORST I've ever had the displeasure of participating in. Look, nobody likes the muster and ...

Carnival seemed to have suffered a complete breakdown in organization and caring for the passenger. Maybe it was the ship (we never saw the captain and he only spoke on the loud speaker two short times in 8 days). Maybe he didn't want to mingle with the passengers as there would have been a lot of complaints. Regardless the ship needs a good scrubbing and badly needed updates. Let me start ...
