Carnival Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Not Very Impressed with Conquest

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Conquest

I had wanted to email Carnival directly with my concerns, but could not find an email address or a customer service area where I could sent my concerns. I will start with the good. The bartenders at the Alchemy Bar were very professional, knowledgeable and nice. It was perhaps the highlight of the cruise. Our night at "The Point" steak house was also very nice, very good food and excellent ...

It has been 30 years since I last sailed Carnival but I wouldn't leave it that long again. We really enjoyed ourselves. There were all ages on this ship. Young and old. We had a balcony cabin. Room was good and the bed comfy. Shower was a little tight but the water pressure was good. The food was ok to great. This ship is about 14 years old and there were signs of wear and tear. I didn't like ...

Conquest in Need of Some Refurbishment

We have been on several cruises 2 with carnival and one with RC. This Cruise was just ok, mainly because we were on an older ship which did not have much to offer families. The cabin was in need of refurbishment for sure. Our sofa in the room was all stained up and even had some slashes in it. We also found it to be quite dusty, good thing I packed my own clorox wipes. The light switches, phone, ...

My husband and I sailed together. We stayed at the Hyatt Place 17th street the night before. Very pricy but good location. Great shuttle service from airport to hotel and cruise port in the morning. Hotel across street from grocery and surrounded by restaurants in a fairly safe neighborhood. Really cheap and blah included morning breakfast for the rate paid for the room-almost $300.00. We ...

We booked this cruise as a post holiday getaway. We got a pretty good rate and were overall satisfied with the cruise. Having been on other cruise lines (RC and NCL) I knew Carnival would not be the same experience, but went for a less expensive cruise line to see the difference. I will say the value for the money was exactly what we expected so I would give an overall 3.5 Ship: The conquest is ...

I have taken many great cruises with Carnival and we did enjoy this cruise. However, money cutting changes are evident such as shorter dining hours like the buffet having limited hours, the Burger restaurant closing at 6 and the burrito place only open from 11 to 2. The room service is now severely limited and even things like French fries now carry a charge. Also, the entertainment staff is ...

This was my 8th Carnival cruise, and I keep going on Carnival cruises because usually they are a lot of fun. I particularly enjoy the dancing during Sail away and on sea days. I was very disappointed this trip because they had a "calypso" band which consisted of a man and a woman whose voices were very irritating. My cruise mate could not stand to be out by the big pool because this woman's ...

My wife and I went on this cruise for relaxing and we got that. We were able to find somewhere to read, smoke, drink, and eat every day. The food was good (not fantastic by any stretch). The boat was old, and dated. Though the staff did a good job of maintenance (washing, painting, etc). We watched several of the shows, and just like other cruises we had been on, some were good, some ...

First Time on a Cruise

Myself, my husband and our 10 year old daughter sailed on Carnival Conquest Jan 17-Jan 23. Overall, it was a good experience. We enjoyed ourselves. It was our first cruise. We aren't really outgoing or party people - we tend to keep to ourselves. So the amount of people was a little irritating at times. It was hard to find a seat in the Lido Buffet. It was next to impossible to find a lounge ...

Flew to FLL from EWR on 1/16/16, and stayed at Motel 6. Took a shuttle from the motel at 10 AM. Arrived at the cruise terminal at 10:30 AM. They started boarding the ship at 11:00 AM. We had FTTF and was on board at about 11:30, got to cabin 9214 forward port at about noon to drop our carry on. Had Lido lunch. Went down to dining room to change late seating 8:15 to early 6:00-was told that ...
