Carnival Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This is our 2nd cruise. We really enjoyed this cruise with our 7 y.o. daughter. We arrived at the port at 11:00 the day of embarkation which was a good idea as they started boarding the ship at 12h30-12h45. We got on the ship early enough to eat and then enjoy some time in the Jacuzzi and the water slides before it got too crowded. Make sure you bring your bathing suit in your carry-on as we ...

Got off a wonderful cruise to Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. This was our ninth cruise, all with Carnival. We have been on every other Conquest class ship, so now we can say we've seen them all. We flew in the night before and stayed at the Hyatt Place Convention Center. Hotel shuttle was on time, and the driver was an absolute riot! He was from Trinidad, and as he avoided other vehicles ...

This was our 4th cruise... and first on Carnival. We've cruised Royal Caribbean in the past. I have to say service was excellent from our room steward. Nice size for a window cabin. Dining room service was slow and food was NEVER hot. Food was good, not great. The Blue Iguana Cantina was yummy! Buffet? Eh. NO sushi. Ever. Ceviche at Fish Sticks? Eh. Looked like it sat around a ...

This was my second time on board the Conquest in a little over a year. My 8th cruise overall between Carnival and Holland America. This cruise was ok, but by no means stellar. The last time I had been on the Conquest it was a shock as to how good it was, now I wonder if it was just a fluke, and this is how they typically are. First the good The steakhouse as well as the MDR, were ...

Not a fun ship this time

Food was mediocre at best; hate the new American menu and really miss some of my fave lunches in the MDR. Brunch - blah!!! Volume turned up waaaay too loud in all venues so we skipped those entertainment opportunities, all of them. Smoke too heavy in casino and no defined smoking areas so we skipped casino too. Future cruise desk couldn't handle the volume, so after standing in line 3 hours, ...

We flew into FLL and used the Carnival transfer to the port, only because we flew in the same day as departure. We were off our plane by 11:00 AM and were on the ship, luggage in cabin and eating lunch on the Lido by 1:00 PM. The Muster Drill was quick and painless! We always were able to find chairs outside, even in the afternoons, although we didn't try to sit by the pools. Our last day ...

I was just on my 7th Carnival cruise (1 each Princess, NCL and RCL) having taken a few years off and I can see that Carnival has tried to make things a little more relaxed, ex. not a tie in sight, not on the MaƮtre 'D, the Captain, no where. Another change is in the room steward, in the past at arrival the room steward would introduce himself and ask about your needs ("an ice bucket each day, ...

If you are a slow patient person then this ship is for you. Breakfast at 7AM, really I'm up at six and waiting. Not enough loungers, because there is no room for anymore. On day 2 I could not find a chair to sit on. People would get the clothe napkins from the buffet to reserve loungers by the time I got on deck a 6. There was a big group form Cleveland (900+) they must have had some system ...

We had planned this cruise for over a year.... and a month before, we got custody of our 9 yr old grandson....so we got online and took him with us....the only bad thing was we booked an interior room so it was little tight sleeping but manageable....Getting on the ship was a big pain...the lines were just long long long...NEVER had those lines before....This cruise getting on and off was terrible ...
