This cruise was amazing it has everything you need and want, at night it can be noisy but that’s it. The rooms are big. We had a balcony in our room and it was beautiful! The price is not much me and my family went to Fort Lauderdale for 3 days and then got on to the cruise in total it costed 1300$ for 3 people. Very nice people, staff is very friendly. The bad things are the night time it is ...

Had a wonderful time

Embarkation and disembarkation went very quick and smoothly. We had a great time. The weather was perfect, seas as calm as could be. The staff was very well trained and very attentive to everyone's needs. Interior of the ship is very nice, clean and parts were beautiful. Cabin was was very nice and like most of the ship extremely well kept. On the DOWN SIDE, the food was, in a word, BAD. ...

I want to love this so badly, but it was simply so meh. Sailors beware.

We are a Midwestern family of four with two young kids (8yo & 6yo) now two days removed from our ship with everything still fresh in mind. Make no mistake – our vacation was so much fun. However, in hindsight, I wish I knew a few things beforehand that made our vacation simply meh rather than amazing for these sailors. Travel: -Fort Lauderdale Airport is nice enough, but the pickup area for ...

Carnival Magic was a blast!

We got off the Magic 1 week ago, and we had an amazing time! We were on a 6-day sailing with stops in Nassau, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk. This was my third cruise, 2nd with Carnival. Embarkation was very smooth. We had a check-in time of 12:30-1. We stayed at the Rodeway Inn (decent place with a bar/restaurant) and took the free 10:00 shuttle to the cruise port. We arrived at about 10:30 and ...

5 Days went by too quickly on the beautiful Carnival Sunrise

Took the Carnival Sunrise with my two - year old son, GF, her mom, her brother, my sister, and two friends. We all had an amazing time, and I'm happy to report we now have two more people hooked to cruising! The ship itself, as I'm sure you know by now is the retrofitted Carnival Triumph, which probably was due for a rebranding after its well - publicized issues. Let me start with THIS ...

This was only our 3rd total cruise in the past 27 years, so we are not "regulars". Our traveling party consisted of my wife and I (mid-50's) and 2 adult children (ages 21 & 23). Embarkation was quick and easy, even without FTTF. Our arrival window started at 1:00 pm, but we got there a half hour early and were able to get on board at that time. It only took about 15 minutes, and it moved ...

We chose this cruise to go to Turks & Caicos we had a great time! All employees were so nice and the food was amazing! Simon London and the fun squad are very good at their jobs as well as housekeeping and dining staff!! We got on in Fort Lauderdale and stayed a few days before getting on the ship at the Lago Mar Resort also a great place to stay. We did most activities on the ship as well ...

Ship needs a makeover, but this cruise was all about the itinerary!

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the value. The Magic is showing it's age in the form of rust and lots of it. As we pulled up to the ship the first thing we noticed was the rust stains on it which diminished our first impression. Every ship has rust, it's part of spending your days being pummeled by salt water, but Magic has more than most. In fact as I was climbing the stairs to the ...

Horrible service and food

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We have sailed with Carnival before but this time was just horrible. We always eat at the sit down restaurant because buffet food is not always the best and we actually got up and left twice. Once the food was horrible and once we never got our food. The lobster was like mush, it would literally squish thru your fork. The veal parm was so hard it was inedible. We were at the roulette table for ...

This ship needs major help! Waited in line 30 minutes in the red frog bar to buy a beer for happy hour to be told they were out! We opted for a SPA balcony, very hot, absolutely miserable. Call 3 times and still sweating! The ship seems to be grossly understaffed for the number of passengers. Even as a platinum member, service is terrible by customer service. Dining room staff is good ...
