My husband and I just got home from this cruise today and I wanted to write my review while things were still on my mind. First of all, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our Steward, Pantika, called us by name and always made sure we had everything we needed. He was the best!!! Cruise director Alex was full of energy and always friendly when we saw him. We splurged on this cruise and ...
My Whole Family were able to book cruise together 13 in all and were able to get staterooms together as well . Carnival went out of their way to make our experience wonderful including 3 Birthday Celebrations while on board . Our Stateroom steward Alberto was wonderfully helpful always and I applaud the wait staff and all staff really for all they do . I shall return to carnival and if I could ...
This review is for the October 7th 2018 sailing for Carnival Magic. There were some really good things about the cruise, and some that were so-so. Happily, there were no aspects of the cruise that I'd call "bad."
Background:
For this cruise there were three of us: myself, and my married friends John and Kathy, who I got hooked on cruising a few cruises ago. They're from Kentucky; I'm ...
Went with family of 8. Ages from 50 to 80. Maybe that was our problem it seems like carnival caters to a younger crowd. First off the staff were so friendly. Loved the service however found the shows in main theatre were very loud and featured rock music. My parents had to leave. Wish they had more variety, shows for all ages. Fourth cruise on carnival and I must say worst shows ever. Loved ...
I chose this cruise because it coincided with my fall break and it had four ports I have never visited before. This was my 5th cruise and 3rd cruise with Carnival since starting back in October 2016. The Magic was very similar to the Breeze but was missing the Asian restaurant. Magic is a nice ship but it just didn't seem as nice as the Breeze did to me. I just liked the decor on the Breeze ...
This was our 6th cruise on Carnival and our 5th ship. We are from Arizona and we love cruising. Closest ports to us are California and Galveston. We enjoy sailing out of Galveston because of the ships and the various port choices. California is more limited in both areas.
I ready many negative reviews about the Vista so was a little nervous but the bottom line for us, we love to cruise, ...
I chose this cruise because it had two ports that I had not yet visited. I was disappointed for the following reasons:
1. The telephone in our cabin did not work. I called guest services, they promised to send someone but never did.
2. The air conditioning did not cool. Colter called someone and claimed it was checked but I couldn't tell the difference.
3. Guest services answered the ...
We went on this cruise because we had an October school break for our 2 kids age 9 and 11, Galveston is just a 4 hour drive, never been to Jamaica and last because The Vista was Carnivals largest and newest ship...the skyride was a plus too we were looking forward to.
About 4 years prior, we went on a much smaller Carnival ship out of Tampa - I did not like that cruise-so little to do and the ...
This old, rusty bucket is small and it vibrates all the time. The crew, for the most part, can't wait to get transferred to another vessel. The food is awful with the exception of Nick and Nora's Steakhouse. N&N has great food and world class service and was the only nice thing on this ship. The casino is so smokey that it is not fit to walk through let alone stay and gamble. I guess this saved ...
This was a good cruise only spoiled by lack of shade for the sun loungers, No real news channels, and no Guinness. Cozumel was missed because of hurricane Michael. As usual Muster was a nightmare with passengers collapsing in the heat whilst we all waited for no shows. We never saw the comedy show because of lack of seats why cant they move it to the main theater. Belize continues to be a ...
