Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

Been on the Glory previously. It's an older ship, but still a favorite of ours. EMBARKATION: Don't understand why VIP members are boarded only 2 minutes before general boarding begins. Not much of a perk , if you have to greet a mob on embarkation. CABIN: Balcony cabin on port side. Nice view of ports and the ocean. DINING: Lido generally good, don't expect 5 stars, let's call it ...

Worst cruise I've ever been on. Don’t do it

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

I chose this cruise as the reviews for Breeze are decent from past cruisers, it will tour 8 islands in S Caribbean, 6 of them I never been. Carnival is famous at FUN, but this ship has no fun at all. No fun activity, early dining 5:30pm always had mile long waiting line, then waited 1 hr for the waiters to serve 1 night, so I only been 3 formal dining’s entire cruise. Food is terrible, super salty ...

Overall was a great atmosphere, cruise director lee was always very informative and funny, the staff was always upbeat and helpful, and the stops were amazing! The food was good and you can order as much as you want.. I've been on a diet so I definitely indulged! They had comedy shows that were very good. There were typically 4 different comedy shows a night, two that are rated R two that ...

Hello everyone. I want you to think twice before booking a cruise with Carnival Cruise Line. I recently cruised with them for the first time on 11/2/18 on the Carnival Sunshine. It was my wife’s and I honeymoon. We got married last year and booked the cruise back in March but could not cruise until November because we are on a strict budget. The cruise was good until we woke up on our 3rd morning. ...

I chose this cruise for my anniversary. And had been wanting to sail to these cruise ports. As for the ship itself in my opinion the decor was nice nothing special. Although The serenity deck with the waterfall pool was a nice feature to the cruise ship. But I Could tell it was an older ship. As to the Entertainment I've seen better but overall it was good. I'm not into the casino, or the ...

Fabulous Girl's Getaway

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We selected this cruise because it was an 8 day to ports we had never visited before. We love the Alchemy Bar. Our only disappointment was that there was no real "dance" band. Good musicians if you just wanted to sit and listen. The DJ was very good, but never seemed to be in any of the venues we visited. The food was the standard Carnival fare, but great, as always. And our wait staff and ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We had never been to Aruba before and were looking forward to it. I had researched the Sunshine and had read some bad things but I also new that the ship was going to dry dock before this cruise so it should be in pretty good shape. Then we heard the news about the issues the ship had on the cruises coming out of dry dock and it had us a little ...

No Sunshine!!!

Every year I have booked a cruise through Carnival and I always recommend the cruise line to my friends/colleagues however after the cruise that I took on November 2nd to Aruba, I will probably cancel my 2019 cruise that I have booked. The experience started with extremely large groups of people that taunted your guests, played explicit music, beat their girlfriends, fought with people at the port ...

Great staff, some ship issues

Overall good time with wonderful food and staff. Initially there was a leak in hallway that resulted in a foul smell most of the cruise in deck 1. I heard of other flooding in different decks. The cabin steward was pleasant and attentive, at times seemed forced. Food was good and fresh tasting. Dining room staff was helpful and responsive to needs. There was only one night where service ...

Would not cruise with Carnival again

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Legend

User Avatar

This was my first (& last) cruise with Carnival. We have cruised many times with Royal Caribbean & Holland America. We chose this cruise as we were travelling with our family which included 4 grandchildren and we thought Carnival would have more activities for the kids, but they have no more activities than RCL. Embarkation was efficient and we were on board quite quickly (although we had ...
