Over crowded great destinations

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

We were lucky enough to have family harbor suites for breakfast and snacks. This ship may be the largest in the fleet...but its not in public space but in rooms they can pack on the boat. Hour long lines for food or anything...two tiny pools for five thousand people is not great. Food was ok at best when we had it from the buffet. Guys, pizza and the sushi was the best food we had we heard good ...

I selected carnival because I enjoyed the previous carnival cruises. This one was not what I expected. On previous carnival ships the atrium was amazing. This was the first thing you saw so you were in awe as you entered the ship. The Vista' s atrium was something you might see as you entered a medical clinic, not even as nice as a shopping mall atrium. Very disappointing. It took 5 days to ...

Really crowded

2nd cruise with Carnival for us. The ship was very crowded, and I felt lines were too long for many of the restaurants. Getting on and off the ship was hectic and crowded, the lines were amazingly huge. Elevators lines were very long so get ready for the stairs. We had a 1yo with us and there was very little we could do with our son. No swim diapers allowed so he could not enjoy the water ...

Best Cruise Director Ever

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

This cruise was our Christmas present to each other. Mikey the cruise director was absolutely amazing. He made this cruise the best we have been on. He was so energenic and motivated the guests to participate to it all. Mikey had a personality that reached out to the crowd. We have another cruise booked with Carnival in 2019, I would love it if he was moved to the Breeze. We had an inside ...

Cruise with family

Chose this cruise because of the water slides splash pad and spa level. We were in spa cabin 10102 balcony room. The room was very small and balcony very small with no overhang to protect balcony from rain. I was very dissapointed in the room and the balcony. The Spa level room also came with spa products and the thermal spa-- not impressed had to ask several times for the spa products that were ...

Very nice week. Not perfect, but that can happen on any ship

We are an active couple in our sixties. Leaving Baltimore in winter can create a rocky and cold sailing for the first 36 or so hours. But that’s not surprising. After that, it’s smooth sailing unless you experience inclement weather. That can happen on any ship. I discovered that Green Apples really do the job. I recommend keeping a couple in your cabin just in case. We did not ...

Amazing experience on the Dream

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

The Dream is a very beautiful ship and is still in great shape. It was decorated for the holidays, which made it even more beautiful. The steakhouse was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the food on the ship overall. We loved the spa so much! It was truly relaxing, the Thalassotherpy pool especially. The shows were great, and we enjoyed most of the onboard entertainment, especially Romaine on ...

Lots of disappointment

My partner and I were very excited to travel on one of Carnival’s larger, “newer” ships. Our first cruise was Carnival Conquest in May 2017. This was a disappointment for both of us compared to Conquest. Dream seemed too large for its crew to cope with. Service was severely impersonal, though most crew was at least cordial. At embarkation, a person who I assume works for Carnival at the port of ...

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Carnival Liberty

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

We were looking for a quick, inexpensive getaway with no kids and the Liberty out of Port Canaveral fit the bill. All of our previous cruises have been on Fantasy class ships so we were looking forward to seeing what a larger ship had to offer. We did arrive the night before and stayed in Cocoa Beach. The beach was nice enough but the area itself, including the hotel, was a little dated. ...

Carnival Pride is affordable and let me see a part of the world I thought I would never see! Carnival made our 7 day Bahamas trip so great. The food was fresh and always available, the entertainment consisted of comedians, mega deck parties, musicals, arts and crafts, dinner wait staff dancers, and I can’t say enough to brag on the staff, they were so friendly and worked so hard to ensure we had ...
