Chose because it was a gambling cruise. Cabin was filthy I took pictures of the layer of dust above the vanity mirror. Long lines for dining room for breakfast. Also with anytime dining very long dinner lines 15 minutes after the doors opened. Food was nothing to write home about. Nothing outstanding or exceptional. A couple of nights we didn’t eat the food. We had rain the week of Jan 12th and ...
We were celebrating our 30th wedding aniversary & my 60th birthday.
I was completely frustrated & disgusted by the complete lack of a useable internet service on this ship and the horific cost of the Whale Watching Tour at Ma'alaea, compared with the price on-line from the same tour operator
I run an internet based business & I need constant access to a wifi service so that I can answer my ...
I selected this cruise because I was interested in visiting the ports that it was stopping at.
The food was just okay. I was so looking forward to some very delicious food and found that overall in the dining room and the buffet fell short of my expectations. Would recommend Guy’s Burger place, the Blue Iguana and the Pizza Place was also alright. The few desserts on the ship that were good ...
Embarkation:
We arrived at our assigned embarkation time apt. and everything was smooth upon checking in. We had also printed all of the boarding passes, luggage tags and completely checked in beforehand so we did had very little to do at the Port Terminal. Once we embarked on, we had a couple of hours until our room was ready so we enjoyed some nice lunch looking out over Port ...
We booked this cruise because of the ports. Our favorite day was St Kitts. We took a cab to the Marriott and enjoyed betting some horse races. Later we walked down to the Marriott beach and walked north to the end of the Marriott property to a gorgeous local beach setting with no people. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Reminds us of Hawaii.
Disappointing was the anytime dining system on this ...
We go on a cruise every year. We picked this cruise because it only had one sea day. We had one of the rooms with floor to ceiling windows on the 9th floor. The 9th floor is the perfect location. However, every day around 530am a loud noise exists which is rediculous and lasted a couple minutes. I think it's the opening if the blinds in the floor above. This ship had the worst entertainment we ...
My cousin chose this cruise for her 28th birthday. We overall enjoyed ourselves because we have a good time no matter where we are. But i must say carnival nickels and dimes you for everything. The fee for wi-fi is outrageous. Fresh clean drinking water is a rare commodity. The water you get from the soft drink dispenser taste like sewer water. The only soft drinks they offer after breakfast is ...
As I first boarded the ship, I wasn't prepared for how small and aged the ship was going to be. Being my 7th cruise, this was the smallest ship I have cruised on. The overall decor of the ship was outdated (carpets, walls, signage, etc.) and everything was purple.
As far as entertainment on board, the broadway style shows and comedian acts were both fantastic. Our cruise director, Deon, was ...
Been on several 7 day cruises and decided to try short one. Chose the Carnival Paridise for the interesting look of the atrium. Since this ship was recently redone and a smaller ship leaving from Tampa. I was only an hour from the port. Parking garage was just across from the port. Boarding was a easy as Carnival had specific boarding times. Unfortunately dis embarking was a little chaotic with ...
My daughters booked this cruise for themselves and several college friends and I tagged along. I was reading the reviews after she booked and got very worried! We've been on Carnival cruise before but never this ship. I literally imagined I was going to be stepping into a sewage filled, awful smelling, very very very old, dated ship with disgusting food and boring entertainment.
Let me ASSURE ...
