Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

It's Alright

I titled this review "It's Alright" because that's what we kept saying the whole cruise. Our expectations were low since we knew it was an older ship, and because of Carnivals reputation, but I think they weren't quite low enough. I will say that the cabins were a pleasant surprise. We upgraded to an ocean view and it was pretty spacious compared to other cruise lines I've cruised on. The ...

Didn’t go to Cozumel which I paid for. Had a fire on last day at 3am.

This was my first cruise ever. 30 years old, surprised my husband for his 30th bday this week. Decided to take my 5 yr old along with us. Trip was Miami to key west to Cozumel and back to Miami. I’m surprised I’m the first one to review because we just got off the ship today but it was a hell of an experience! Being my first cruise I didn’t know what to expect. But we traveled from NC(13hr ...

Worst cruise ever

Would never recommend to anyone to take this cruise. The ship is clean, but worn. The rooms are fine for a quick three day cruise. The staff was friendly and kept things cleaned and replenished. They only do room service once a day, but for a short trip that was ok. We opted for mornings. The food was mediocre. They didn’t change the buffet offerings. They did have a Mandorin, pizza, bbq ...

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Legend

Chose this cruise for price and destination. The ports were excellent on the South Island of New Zealand. The ship was shabby, lots of external rust, and our cabin grubby on arrival. This was attended to when shown to cabin staff. Food of average to poor standard even in the dining room. Long queues to enter. Buffet selection limited, especially with salads and fruits. Coffee in buffet the best ...

We chose carnival because of family recommendations. ship is old. it's decor belies it's age, but it's immaculate from bow to stern. We cruised with another company last year and their ship was not something they could be proud of. Dining room server, i putu, and his assistant were a wonderful, fun, helpful twosome. And the dining is no longer just " food". No, it's come a long way from what ...

I did not chose. My brother did and we went with him. He choose this trip for 2 reasons. 1 It was in the Eastern Caribbean 2 It had a cabin type 4j we had good weather, the food was good, but not great. the entertainment was ok. I liked the Sunshine better than the Dream or the Libertyonly thing that I did not know was the cabin was a handicap room until I paid my final payment. Because ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

We'd never been on a cruise and after watching a movie about a cruise (not Titanic) we decided to try. We were a bit apprehensive but decided to give it a try. We chose to go in early February as it was after Christmas break and before Spring break so we thought that we would miss a rush of kids. The cruise was mostly filled with retirees though there were a few families. Getting on and ...

We were on the Sunshine for 29 days to get out of winter! Carnival does some things great and other things are awful...I'll explain in more detail later, but in my opinion, what is wrong is the fault of Corporate policies of not enough staff to handle the job. all of the crew members we had contact with were trying their hardest to do a good job, but it was evident that they were over worked to ...
