Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Great itinerary, adequate ship, terrible food

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Miracle

I chose this ship and itinerary for three main reasons - it was over our wedding anniversary, it sailed out of our home port of Tampa, and it stopped in Belize City. I want to start and end the review on a positive note, so I'll begin with our favorite bartender - Jakub. Jakub worked the bar at Nick & Nora's, was very passionate about his job, and obviously cared about our experience as ...

Another pleasant cruise on the Dream

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

My second time on the Dream and it was once again quite pleasant. We departed from New Orleans and embarcation was a breeze. From curb to poolside took us less than 15 minutes. Very efficient! The ship was nice, no complaints there. Always clean, never had to wait at a bar or at the buffet, service in the dining room was impeccable and though I found selection very limited in both the ...

Smooth Sailing on the Vista

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

We really had a great time on the Vista. This was our 18th cruise and 8th on Carnival. We like to spend the night in Galveston the night before due to fog in February. Our favorite parking place is EZ Cruise which can be booked online. Embarkation was probably the fastest ever in Galveston. We hopped on at 12 and were in our cabin by 1:30. We booked the extended AFT cabin #9477 and ...

Enjoyable Cruise

This was our second Carnival Cruise. We have sailed on most lines but primarily Celebrity and Princess. We did a back to back sailing on the next February 16th Journeys cruise. I chose Carnival because of the ports of call on this cruise and the Journeys cruise. Quickest, easliest embarkation I have had in 30 plus crusies Main dining room food was good. Variety, good choices, great ...

Try a different cruise line

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

This was our first time on a Carnival cruise. (We have used other lines.) I did not ever feel where I was to be particularly clean. The food was pretty terrible in the dining room and the buffet. Cold and undercooked. There are food options that are pretty good, but you will have to stand in slow, long lines for those options. (Hamburgers, omelets, etc.) I will say the staff was very nice ...

We chose this crews for a group of 48 , because it was a good value for the money , and most of the group was from the west coast. Port in Long Beach the best. very well ran , and really no wait at all. Got to cover the bad first , them give the praise. Bad Excursion though Carnival I do think Carnival should make sure that tour guides they use, do not have there own agenda. We ...

My wife and I took this 7 night Caribbean cruise in February / 2019. Our boarding process was very fast compared to other cruises The ship has several attractions and places to have fun: table tennis, two water slides, swimming pools, plenty of deck chairs to sunbathe on the decks. The theater was never crowded at nightly shows. In two of the 7 nights, there was no show, but only ...

Fun Family Vacation

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Overall this was a fun family vacation. Embarkation and disembarking were smooth. Our room was nice and the room steward was great. Camp Ocean for our 4 & 6-year-olds was awesome and gave us parents a much-needed break. I really appreciated being able to send them to dinner at night when we ate in the dining room. We had Any time dining - we did have to wait several times to be seated but it ...

Loved just about all aspects of the cruise. From laying out to checking out the art gallery to gambling, had a blast! Food 3 stars- some things were tasty some were not, the cakes needed a lot of help but for the most part the food is simple and what you paid for. Dinner service was really fun and the dinner show was a lot of fun. Our stateroom Steward Wayan and Stewardess Pan Pan were ...

Lots of good but lots of frustration

Embarkation was really easy. My key and bags were at my cabin at noon so I was a happy camper. The staff was amazing. Several staff that I had met on previous cruises. Cruise director Donkey was super funny and was always out partying with the guests. I had anytime dining which was fine but I rarely ate at the MDR. I was disappointed that as a platinum cruiser, I was not given priority ...
