Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Ship needs to be retired

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Splendor

This ship is old and needs to be updated. Cabin on the Riviera Deck was dirty and dusty. We found a pair of shoes in the closet from a previous cruiser. Empty plastic shopping bags in drawers. Beds were very uncomfortable and felt like air mattresses. There were lights in the room that were out and not replaced. The TV is tiny and everything looked green. The decor is old and gaudy. The food was ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Valor

Overall the cruise was very good. The dining room service (Komang) and room steward (Andre) were exceptional. Embarkation was hampered by fog and the Carnival representatives at Houston Hobby did a good job of keeping order and organizing the shuttle to Galveston. Processing at the Galveston terminal went smoothly. Although the crew had a short turnaround time, our cabin was ready when we ...

Relaxing Birthday Weekend

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

We just got off the 3 day Liberty, and had a great time. DH and I booked this because I wanted a getaway for my birthday and after pricing a few places in FL, we decided that cruising was as cheaper or cheaper than getting a nice beach condo, eating out, and doing something special for entertainment. We live in Central FL, so it's easy for us to book last minute. I love the relaxed feel of a ...

Don't book on Carnival ship Valor

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Carnival Valor

Taking a cruise to the Panama Canal was on our bucket list however this ship is a rust bucket that has not been updated since it's inaugural voyage and it shows ! The entertainment is done by the same six people for every night, and is horrible. Every show ended with fewer show goers than it started with. Since Carnival has added the "tips" to your bill -- the service has significantly ...

Couldn’t get better than this

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Spirit

To be honest I didn’t even know what carnival was like when I first booked. It had a 3 days flash sale on and I jumped in as the prices looked too good. I literally had to google where noumea was after I paid for the cruise. I went with my partner and it was truly an awesome cruise. First and foremost we got the faster to the fun programe and it probably took us 10 mins to get on board through ...

this was our first time crusing ever, we chose this cruise line because it had the dates we wanted. we couldnt be more pleased. From the time we boarded the ship through the time we left the ship everything was perfect. The food, whether it was fine dining or all you can eat food, was the best. The bars were more than equipped with any drink you could ever want and some def worth trying. Our room ...

An excellent short break cruise with great entertainment and relaxing itinerary

We wanted to experience a short cruise with a relaxing itinerary on a typical carnival fun /party ship.We were not disappointed and had a superb time overall. Our cabin was a basic inside no window but perfectly adequate although did not have any chairs. This was quickly rectified by the steward who provided superb service in a friendly manner and this was echoed by all of the staff we encountered ...

Great cruise for the money!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sensation

The Carnival Sensation was a pleasant surprise! Although I’ve been on more than a dozen cruises, including 3 other Carnival cruises, I wasn’t sure what to expect on this 5-night itinerary on one of the older boats in the Carnival line. I’m happy to report that it is a great deal for your dollar if you’re looking for a low frills, high fun cruise experience. What the boat lacks in décor from ...

Misleading

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sensation

There is not enough room to share how horrible this cruise was. First, the dock member lost my luggage as I checked in, and later found out they wrote the wrong room number on my tag and set my luggage outside the wrong door. It took me 5 hours to find it. Then. I paid $85 for internet service to do grad school homework, but the internet didn't work. The staff was very rude, the ship was old and ...

Dirty ship, friendly staff!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Conquest

User Avatar

We chose the Conquest because friends invited us to join them. Embarkation from Ft. Lauderdale was quick and easy. First thing we noticed after boarding was how dirty the windows and floors in the eating areas were. This ship is in need of a major renovation. Chaise lounges around pool area had threadbare cushions and stains. Decor throughout ship was aged and worn. Our balcony cabin was ...
