Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Loved the cruise, not so much charges to my Sign & Sail card

Overall it was a great cruise. The weather was almost perfect and I haven't had a bad cruise yet. The ship's crew did a great job and the food was good. I think NCL does have a better food selection in their buffet but I always found more than enough to eat. I had my son and granddaughter with me and they enjoyed their cruise too. My only real gripe came after the cruise. I was ...

Cheers package- we had this and it cost us about $617+ for my husband and I. Drinks range from $6.85-$15.00 each. So I’m thinking it’s been worth is as you can purchase water bottles through this as well as coffee (that’s not in main dining and other drinks alcoholic or non) for whatever the reason- drinking water seems really far away the entire time lol. They only have water spouts in the main ...

Most of this is going to be from memory and before starting, I'd like to preface this review with a few statements. 1. This is my opinion. 2. I am a food snob. 3. While I have seen a Broadway show, do not rely on me when it comes to stage-show productions. 4. I have sailed the Mardi Gras in 1993, Ecstasy in 1998, and Dream in 2012. 5. Family of four...myself (44), wife (39), ...

Very worn ship. Surprised it is only 10 years old.

I've sailed many different Carnival ships, both new and old. I was pretty shocked at the condition of the ship, which is less than 10 years old. Whatever happened to ongoing maintenance? Our cabin had lots of dents and scratches. A couple of the lamps sticking out of the wall were loose. Our fiberglass shower had a huge crack in it. There were hundreds of tiles missing at the main ...

First cruise and it was AMAZING

Mat, the cruise director, was phenomenal. He is so full of energy and so positive. He was the perfect person to keep the ship going. The adults in our group enjoyed the casino a lot (someone please win our money back). We had so many people that talked and laughed with us. I could list something special about each of them, but that would take all day. I do want to mention some of the names of ...

Carnival Freedom, Eh? ok

We chose this cruise as if fit perfectly into the time frame we both could get for our vacation. We had never cruised before and decided on this one as we had always wanted to go on one and we thought it would be a fun way to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We flew into Houston on Southwest a day early. We used and recommend Galveston Limo service for transfers from the airport as they were ...

I have sailed with carnival Previously on the Triumph for a 4 day cruise. This ship was extremely similar and I enjoyed it just as much if not more. I did love the serenity deck, but it also being the deck of camp ocean ( for kids) was a little confusing. Really enjoyed speciality meal and the steak house and of course, Guys burger. Main restaurant food was iffy . Cruise director was great ...

We had to cancel this cruise in 2018, due to an injury. So we were happy to be able to go on it this year and get to visit some islands we have missed in the past. We had a very quick check in and were on board withing 30 minutes of arriving at the port. Our debarkation was almost quicker. We were off the ship and on the way to I-95 in less than 45 minutes. In the past, we have waited ...

Spring break vacations are what YOU make of them

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We had some time off for spring break. There were four of us all adults who were out of school for the week and in need of some relaxation and vitamin sea. We picked this cruise for the 8 days and haven't been to any of these ports before. I personally think that vacations are what you make of them. They can be as busy as you choose or as relaxing as you choose. No not everything will always ...
