Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Great Cruise! Long review with lots of info

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Legend

We have cruised many times in the Caribbean but have always wanted to try an Alaskan cruise. We had a marvellous time! My review is quite long but here are some special notes if you don't want to read the whole thing: - Don’t try to schedule your Lyft ride the day before your cruise - Check on possible excursion openings (which may have previously been fully booked) as soon as you board: ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

Our 1st cruise was on the Carnival Valor, we LOVED everything on the Valor, not so much on the Dream. Everything from cleanliness, food, drinks was a complete let down. The ship stunk on the Lido deck like sewage/urine. The food was nothing special, the dining room basically had the same menu night after night, with only a few items different each night. The desserts were unimpressive, quality ...

Not the ship for a relaxing cruise.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I'm writing this from the perspective of someone who wants a relaxing cruise, as apposed to someone who wants to party. If you are looking to get, and stay, loud, this may be the ship for you. This is only my second cruise. My first was on the Carnival Fantasy, out of Mobile AL. The Fantasy was so great, that I couldn't remember everything that my wife and I loved about it when I wrote that review ...

We are repeat customers. Our son turned 21 and wanted to go to New Orleans. My husband doesn't care for New Orleans so a cruise from New Orleans was the perfect option. Carnival never disappoints. The cruise director, Dustin was always positive and got the crowd motivated. The dining room staff Eko, Dominique and Cipta were always on point! Embarkation was amazingly smooth. The ladies ...

We chose this cruise because Port of NO is a great very fast port to use. It was worth the 8 hour drive to NO instead of fighting all the traffic that would’ve been in FL. Getting on and off were as easy as walking out to my mailbox. We were the only cruise at the port which is probably why. $22 a day to park was really freaking pushing it but again my car from the boat was like walking to my ...

This was hands down the worst cruise I’ve ever been on. The food was terrible, especially in the main dining room and service was very slow. We went to the at sea brunch one day and sat there for over 30 minutes before anyone even brought water to our table. I got food poisoning from dinner at the main dining room and was out for a whole day because of it. The only highlight in the food department ...

Worse cruise ever--if there's such a thing

This was a very relaxing cruise -- mostly stayed on the ship as I've been to the Caribbean's many times. I was very disappointed with the food. I am a picky eater but normally when cruising I stick closely to the Blue Iguana Cantina Burrito bar. That didn't work out so well as the shrimp was very salty. Needless to say, that was off my list for the duration of the 8-day cruise. Overall, I ...

Aging boat and poor food

It was ok at best. Mexico felt safe. Food got old really quick and so did the entertainment. Stay away from the non paying casino. Best part of the trip was getting home. Stay on the boat when it docks and you might get a chance to use the pool and hot tub. When in progresso do NOT book the Mi Casa Es Su Casa excursion or you will hate yourself. Tried to review on Carnival but they only take good ...

I do want to say there was one individual in Customer Service that was absolutely amazing! Cudo's to Neo! He was the one that earned the 3 stars. Thank you, Neo you are absolutely the best part of the Ship! The food was horrible in the buffet area would have eaten in the dining room but my anytime seating was replaced with an 8:15 P.M. dinnertime which I am one not to eat that late at night. ...
