Our 1st cruise was on the Carnival Valor, we LOVED everything on the Valor, not so much on the Dream. Everything from cleanliness, food, drinks was a complete let down. We chose this cruise because Port of NO is a great very fast port to use. It was worth the 8 hour drive to NO instead of fighting all the traffic that would’ve been in FL. This was hands down the worst cruise I’ve ever been on. The food was terrible, especially in the main dining room and service was very slow. We went to the at sea brunch one day and sat there for over 30 minutes before anyone even brought water to our table. This was a very relaxing cruise -- mostly stayed on the ship as I've been to the Caribbean's many times. I was very disappointed with the food. It was ok at best. Mexico felt safe. Food got old really quick and so did the entertainment. Stay away from the non paying casino. Best part of the trip was getting home.
