Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Fun family cruise with the mother-in-law!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

If you are looking for a relaxing cruise and a great price and fun port, then I would recommend the Valor. I have over 125 cruise days with Carnival on 14 of their ships. I have never had a problem on any cruise. This was our first time on the Valor. Since we love visiting New Orleans, it seemed like the perfect time to bring my Mother-In-Law on her first cruise. Getting to the Port took a ...

Fun until disembarkment time

Embarkment was a breeze. We choose a later time slot of 1:00 and were on the boat by 1:15. We got in our room for 1:30 and noticed that our bed was not two twins as we requested, but a king. Awkward for two friends traveling together, but our stateroom steward corrected the problem by dinner. We choose anytime dining and had no problem getting in any night. We found a great server on our ...

Great for some, but not for us

We needed a break, but without flying half way across the world. We are Kiwis, with about 10 cruises under our belt. We love Princess. Unfortunately, at this time of year, there is only Carnival sailing out of Aussie, we had a break in work pressure, so it was now or 6 months time. We are an extremely middle aged husband and wife. We scored a good two-for-one deal, and we didnt find out ...

This was my 44th Carnival cruise and 68th cruise overall, so I do have lots to compare it to! With all the propulsion problems going on, we expected Carnival to greatly reduce prices to sell out the June 29 cruise that was postponed to July 1 and turned into an 8 day cruise. I monitored prices daily and when it dropped to what I was comfortable paying, we booked. Good thing we did not ...

Let’s start with embarkation, a super smooth process. The second we got to the port everyone was ready and willing to get our bags and help us on up. Security and check in were an absolute breeze, we were on the boat in less than 15 minutes. By 1 or 2 ish the rooms were ready where we were greeted by our room steward Putu AKA Bobby. I have countless to say about Bobby but I will save that for ...

I am a cruise person having been on 8 cruises and 5 of those on Carnival Ships. The spa people were standing on the deck offering you a chance for a discount. Having never had a facial I pulled a card and received $50.00 off. I had a facial done which was 165.00 less $50.00 which is $115.00. I SIGNED a receipt for $115.00 however after I get home I see I was charged $135.75. When I contacted ...

Embark was chaotic with suitcase and people drop off from Ft Lauderdale. I have no idea how someone has not been hit by a car. Disembark was great- easy peezy. Because we are VIFP members- we stick with Carnival- however the loyalty program is fair at best. They could learn a ton from Omni or Southwest Loyalty programs. The crowd was shady. The neighbor staterooms partied all night (no ...

I've cruised with Carnival before, we liked the itinerary, and the price was reasonable. The food was excellent and the wait staff and cruise director were great. Also, we really enjoyed the ship's entertainment. The spa and the showers in the locker room were very nice. The ship itself is pretty warn out. Our stateroom was not clean upon arrival (we found clothing tags, contact lenses, hair ...

Largest cruise of 4 that I have been on and big disappointment. I thought there would be more pools and there was several things in pictures on sight that was not available. Food was great as well as all of the staff. They always answered our questions and concerns Room was hot but may have been due to we was right under the LIdo deck which is open floor plan with door opening and closing all the ...

The ship is absolutely stunning. Everything was very clean and easy to navigate after the first day. The staff was some of the best! Mercy was our room steward and she is the sweetest! I was traveling with my grandmother and my son who is 10 months old. He loved her as much as we did. Everyone was so nice to us. Eat in the dining room! The food was excellent along with the wait staff. Alvaro, ...
