Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Lack of teen activities and too much ship maintenance

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

We chose this ship because it was going to Roatan, our favorite port stop. This was our 7th cruise and 2nd trip on the Breeze. The ship itself is starting to show her age. While we traveled on it they were touching up paint (much needed), and replacing the outdoor tv (missing many pixels). The staff and service onboard was excellent; enjoyed chatting with many of the crew. The ship is ...

Very hot, but an enjoyable cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We usually cruise in the fall or winter, but were joining friends who wanted to go on this particular date. We are platinum cruisers, so embarkation was quick and our room was ready when we boarded at 11:30a.m. I won't repeat what most others have said about the ship itself, but will comment on our experience this cruise. It was very hot and humid, as to be expected, everywhere. The chair hogs ...

The cruise in general was very smooth and awesome. sometimes at certain parts of the boat it would smell bad, but the rest was great. I’m only 13 so I really love entertainment and circle c was the most of it. The advisor Josh was amazing. He cared for everyone there, made conversations, and always made sure nobody was doing anything bad. I’m going to miss circle c only bc he was so great. In all ...

Nice Cruise, but could have been better

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I recommend Carnival Sunshine for the convenience and pleasant experience of sailing out of Charleston, South Carolina. The ship was comfortable and energetic. We were fortunate to have Adam as our Cruise Director. I was aware of his outstanding reputation of being the premier cruise director for Carnival. He did not disappoint. In fact, a better cruise director would be hard to find throughout ...

Very unkept and dirty

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

This review is for the Carnival cruise ship The Dream. The staff were super nice but could not understand or speak english very well. The ship was begining to show its age and had several rust spots on the balcony . But the worst part was the unkept look of the entire ship. All of the windows were dirty and had streaks of dirt that looked as if it had been there a while. The carpets ...

I'm not sure that I've ever given a negative review of a cruise before but there is a first time for everything ... We live in Charleston so we were very excited to sail out of our home port. Avid cruisers, we've enjoyed Carnival, RCCL and Disney cruises and have always praised Carnival for its service and food quality, as well as the variety of entertainment. That said, I feel that the service ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Legend

We have had this on our bucket list for some time now. We took our two kids 13 and 15, intending for an Alaskan cruise to be a surprise. We told them we were going to an island in Canada, I even bought them red Canada hooded sweatshirts. My 15 year old found a printed email confirmation a couple days ahead, and my 13 year old was very surprised and told her the day we flew out instead of ...

This message is to warn anyone planning on having a Carnival cruise wedding to NOT DO IT! If it weren’t for my family and friends the entire memory would be a disaster! I planned a carnival cruise wedding on the sensation on July 30,2019. Upon deciding that I would have the wedding with Carnival I submitted all my documents necessary so that the wedding planner on board would be informed of all ...

We had a blast and enjoyed everything. Can’t want to go again! We really enjoyed the theater every night. Kevin was our cruise director and he was so good and funny. The food was awesome. I have nothing bad to say! There is always something to do. Between the movies on deck 9 and the theater. Also there is a lot for the kids to do. Getting on the ship wasn’t a problem. We boarded at 12 and was ...

My mom and I booked this cruise solely to go to Cuba, as it is one of the few ports in the Caribbean we have yet to travel to. When the travel ban was enacted on Cuba two months prior to our cruise, we were beyond disappointed. Carnival compensated us with $100 onboard credit per person (plus I believe $27 back in port expenses), or the ability to cancel our cruise with a full refund. In ...
