Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

First cruise overall success

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

The cruise was a gift to me and my sister from our parents as a vacation. The four of us stayed in a balcony room which was beautiful and probably one of our favorite parts about it. Our housekeeper was Carlos and he did an amazing job. Always asking us about the cruise or if we needed anything when we saw him. On our cruise, we stopped off first at Nassau and then Freeport in the Bahamas. When ...

The Good, Bad, and the Ugly

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

The Good • Room Steward service was actually very good. He asked us up front if wanted our rooms serviced once or twice per day. That was the first time I had ever been asked that question. With three people in our smallish balcony room we requested twice a day. Both ice and towels were replenished every day. • Bar service was also very good. We got the Cheers package, and certainly ...

Disappointing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

The cruise was affordable for our party of ten especially we booked at the last minute. My party and I went on a 4 day cruise to Cozumel Mexico on the Carnival Valor; this is my third time cruising with Carnival cruise line and first time on the Valor. Other than the Cruise Director, Kevin, my family and I didn't have a good time and I didn't like the ship. The Valor seemed small, congested and ...

Great ship!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

We chose this cruise for our honeymoon. We loved the ship, the only complaint that I really have is the amount of seating that was available on the Serenity Deck. We thought it would be a quiet, peaceful area to relax during the day and it was a fight to get a chair unless you got there by 7 am to claim a chair. We had the best time in The Piano Bar, The Alchemy Bar and the Atrium bar. ...

Balcony Smoking and Dining Room Service

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

We chose a balcony stateroom with the expectation of enjoying fresh air. From the first day we were subjected to our neighbor's smoking. We immediately complained to Guest Services. This was repeated on subsequent days: smoking and complaints. Carnival provides extensive space both in the ship's interior and exterior for smokers. Some smokers want more. Our cabin attendant was friendly and ...

Everything was horrible

Don’t know where to start. Entertainment director was very disorganized. No one could understand him. He did not set up good activities. It was a total chaos on the ship. People were boarding on and off whenever they want. They initially provided the time to each deck but people were getting off whenever they want to. Staff was extremely rude and impolite. Food was horrible, lines were extremely ...

We had a cabin on deck 8 and it was a balcony. We went to Costa Maya, Roatan, and Cozumel. Embarkation was fast and easy. Arvin was the best steward ever. He helped us with water, extra pillows, mattress pad, and kept things clean. We only requested service once a day because we tend to be in and out of our cabin a lot, and he was great about keeping things tidy while we were away. We got to ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

My husband and I cruised royal Caribbean in the past and after finding their staff rude and condescending Carnival seemed like the logical choice when we were looking for a cruise line to take our kids on for our family vacation. So first let down was during embarkation, going through security my husband who is a former active marine gets stopped because he has an hollow bullet bottle opener ...

Phony Destinations

Destination cruises are just that. You board a ship with the intention of having an amazing onboard experience as well as having wonderful destination experiences. To that end, this trip is definitely what you make of it. The onboard entertainment was less than overwhelming due to the repetitive with the string instrument trio playing EVERY evening and one of the two comedians having NO routine ...

A review Best cruise ever. So worth the money as well. I am impressed by the level of service offered onboard the ship too. The range of experiences is enough for most folks honestly and the food is amazing too. I enjoyed the entertainment on the last night as well. Our group appreciated the wine available in addition. Our rooms were clean and nice. And additionally, the whole cruise ...
