We loved the fully HA cabin and the layout, especially the power assisted door for my scooter. Pulling straight forward and parking it against the desk, there was adequate room for us to walk into the bathroom and for the recharging cord to be plugged in at the desk. However, this was also housekeeping's usual spot for a trash can and I was constantly having to move it out of the way on every single return after service, twice a day. The old live vest box was gone and the vests were now stored on top of the closet space. The television was a decent-sized flat screen, although the satellite system was unreliable at times.

Average Family Cruise By: Bayonex
Room was neat and very clean. Room steward was very good! This room is located near the elevators but we never heard any noise from "elevator traffic" but there is a metal strip on the floor in front of this room and when things are rolled down the hallway it can be quite noisy.

Couple on First Cruise By: TravlinRick
We had the cabin laid out as a king bed, it was clean and functional but you could see some wear and tear. Chips on corners, etc. As this was our first cruise, can't comment on space as compared to other rooms but space was limited and most noticeably when we were changing for dinner in the MDR -- but was easily manageable. No place to sit down except the bed and one little stool pushed under the desk. Bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. You could feel where the two twin matresses came together, but we didn't find it a problem. Electrical outlet in the cabin by the bed worked but was cracked, the one in the bath we couldn't plug anything into (may have needed switched or something, there was what looked like a tab on it) but didn't hinder us as we used the one in the cabin, swapping things out as needed. I brought a long extension cord but didn't need to use it. The window was reasonably clean, and we did enjoy having the view, opening the curtains during the day to allow the sun in. TV worked fine, when we were in the room it mostly stayed on the channel that had ship info (speed, wind, distance traveled, etc.) and had an inset that swapped between the front camera, the pool camera, and radar info on the area. Given the cheap cost of fairly large flat screens these days, was surprised at how small the TV was, but I guess it is a chunk to the bottom line to upgrade in volume. Closet space was adequate for our needs; if the same space is provided for those rooms that house four folks, I would think it would be a problem. Shower was fine, sink space limited but adequate, toiletries fit fine in the ample medicine cabinet. Overall, no problem with the room choice, no problem with the room. We chose near the stairs and found it convenient. Out the door, short hallway, up one flight and we are at the MDR. Up three flights and we are at Tiffany's. We did not have a problem with noise from the elevators or noise from the overhead dining room -- but if you view the deck plans we were sort of under one corner of the dining room, so that may have helped. We did hear noise a couple of times, but not at night when we were heading to bed. Was usually late, though.

Carnival offers basic cabins, but you 'll find everything that you'll need. We had a hair dryer which is not always the case on a Fantasy Class ship. I like being high enough to take the stairs to most locations, but we chose the Upper Deck as to make sure that we were not beneath the galley or show lounge. I was surprised that the televisions were not updated during the recent drydock but they were good enough.

Although the view was great from the window, the rest of the cabin left a bit to be desired. We literally had to climb over the beds to get to the window because the cabin was so small. I'm glad none of us are claustrophobic! We really didn't spend any time in the cabin though, we were always out doing stuff and having fun. There were only three drawers in the room, so my husband and I shared one and each kid had their own for clean clothes and whatever treasures they got at the kids clubs.

Ok oceanview cabin. Some noise when docking, close to a loading area at the bottom of ship. Will work fine if you do not mind the stairs, most of activities on upper level and elevators were sketchy at best (often out of order or stuck on one floor for a long period of time).

Not what I expected. By: Justice1213
The cabin was clean and overall well kept. We never had a noise issue. The t.v. was awful...screen was too dark to make out some scenes. Plus, the remote didn't work correctly.

Never do this again !! By: WeLuvToKruise
E-91 ... Room is small, have to crawl over to get out of the on eside of the bed. Room is extremely loud and noisy, there must not be any sound insulation. Room was dusty and shower had mold in it.

We were in E203, a family oceanview room. It worked great for our needs. For 5 days we had plenty of storage space, adequate bathroom, quiet location. Convenient to dining, buffet, and show room.

Upper Deck 34. The cabin was perfectly situated away from stairs and elevators. There was little traffic. The room was comfortable, bathroom was clean but small as expected. Plenty of closet room. Only one outlet but because I read the reviews here I knew to bring and power outlet.

Elation was a great time!! By: cruznhoosier
The room was plenty spacious for the two of us. The view is out the back of the ship. There is enough space in the window for my 190 lb. self to sit comfortably. The bed was comfortable. My wife did request a pad and extra pillow which was promptly added. Our steward Mal was excellent. The room was always cleaned with fresh towels. There were of course the obligatory towel animals and chocolates on the pillows every night. If you don't bring an alarm clock you can get a wake-up call which arrived as scheduled every morning. The closets were a little on the small side. Being on the end of the ship there was no noise from people walking through the halls. The engine noise was not much more noticeable than from other cabins about mid-ship and back. If anything the hum of the engine was conducive to sleep. Coming in and out or port there was some noise but it wasn't isolated to the area we were in. If you have ever cruised before you know what I am talking about. The bathroom was small. There was shampoo and body wash in a dispenser on the bathroom wall. There were also samples of shampoo, toothpaste, and breathe right strips in the medicine cabinet above the sink. Definitely bring a power strip as there is only one plug. The TV was archaic but we didn't come for the TV. The only complaint about the room was the water temp in the shower. It would fluctuate wildly from hot to cold at any given second.

Great Cruise By: Snoopyone
U119-great view with big picture window. Roomy enough for 2. Bathroom small, but managable. Nice comfortable king size bed. Enough closet space and also room for 4 luggage bags in room. Would have been nice to view the window without crawling over the bed, but once you crawled over there was about 8 inches of room to stand. Couldn't go around the bed due to the life jacket storage box. I would stay in this room again.

U159 is near the elevators and directly across from a door crew area. You could sometimes hear clinking from glasses and such as the crew members went in and out.

E194-a 4 person room with 2 twin beds and 2 upper bunks. My 14 yr old was too tall for bunk so I ended up sleeping up there most of week. Only 4 small drawers so unable to empty 2 of our suitcases. There was room under one of the bunks to leave suitcases laying out. Two decent size closet spaces with many hangers. A small vanity with mirror in room also. the bathroom was decent size with large shower, water was always hot even if 3 other had showered before you. Room stayed very cool, and always clean. Never noticed much hallway noise though we do take noisemaker for sleeping.

Loved the central location of our cabin, yet it was surprisingly quiet once you shut the door, you only occasionally heard noise but it was muffled and never disturbed us.
