Cabin 7449

Cabin was spacious enough for 3 adult women. It was clean and in good shape. Personally didn't care for aft balcony. I prefer the regular balcony. I did like being toward the back of the ship and it was close to the lido deck and activities we were interested in.

I loved how big our cabin was and the balcony. We had a great room steward and his assistant.

The room-vile. I'm sure in 1985, pink crown molding was the "it" color but it is 2016! We had an aft balcony room and the decor was so old and worn you could tell it was going to be a miserable 6 days. The bathroom was most dismal. There is a little triangle stand shower with a flimsy curtain that water would spray out onto every surface. Also, why would anyone want to turn the lights on from the outside of the bathroom? The blowdryer that is provided in the room is like a child's play toy. It lets off hot air but there is zero blow power. If you choose to go on a cruise (God forbid), bring your own blowdryer. The last 2 days of our cruise were interesting because a smell from the kitchen or dining room had swept into our room for hours (think chicken fried steak). We cranked the air and hoped it would dissipate by the time we had to go to sleep. You can hear almost everything in your rooms. One night we were attempting to sleep and the entertainment (best orgasm scream) continued to wake us up. It was humorous considering the disturbance so we just laughed it off; but fair warning!

Balcony had no breeze. Very small. Room was dirty and small. Room service took forever! Really needs to be updated. Could not fit 3 chairs on balcony.

We loved our aft balcony cabin, you can't beat the views. The vibration of the engines rocked us to sleep every night, and our cabin steward kept us in ice all the time as well as taking excellent care of us. The aft cabins are slightly smaller than the "regular" balcony cabins but having the extended balcony is worth that minor difference.

Welcome to Walmart!!!!l By: 60sunshine
Long walk from everywhere on the ship!!!! Extended balcony, but absolutely NO BREEZE. Stale air. It's just not worth the extra $500. Really with the tinted glass slanted inward the view isn't panoramic. I would have preferred a balcony on the side of the ship. Well lesson learned. if the water is a little rough, you really feel the rolling in this room.

Conquest 6461: Three closets, average bathroom. Bed wasn't like the previous four carnival cruises, we could feel the crease and we had to each sleep on our own side. Balcony is spacious and outstanding. Room is directly below a pool and Jacuzzi area. We didn't hear much at night, including the kids eating at the pizza bar. Only one outlet for a 110. We took an power strip for the phones and camera batteries.

Cabin was fantastic. Plenty of room, plenty of storage space, good layout. Only negative was tiny shower that didn't behave well with the temperature

A Mixed Bag By: brewtoo
Enjoyed the balcony and the view. Spectacular. And the aft balcony layout makes it easy to visit with your neighbors. But watch out! These cabins sit right on top of the Degas Lounge and the noise from below is incredible! Floor-vibrating! Like OMG loud and it would be funny except that it is your home for a week. The worst was during karaoke and you could hear every song in detail. "Who let the dogs out??!! Boom, Boom Boom!" The comedy shows were not as loud but we could hear the jokes without having to leave our cabin. Maybe we should call that a convenience! This all quieted down by 12:30 AM or so.

Another great cruise! By: srizzuto
Had an extended balcony off the rear of deck 6. It is standard sized, had a mini bar, decent sized bathroom, big bed and couch/sofa bed. I suppose the balcony area was slightly bigger than those on the sides of the ship. Had a lounge chair, large reclining chair, and regular chair. Adjoining balcony rooms (a door between the rooms) are not available, but after 3 days of requests, the steward opened the partition on the balcony between our rooms (to friends next door). Some nights it was noisy because it is right above the Degas lounge, home to karaoke singing and comedy shows, but we didn't let it bother us. Some nights when bands were playing on the Lido (deck 9) we could hear the screaming and fun going on but that was all good fun too.

Leisure time Cruising By: AmarilloBlueRose
having two closet areas was great, using one of the drawers for the hair dryer is a waste, put it somewhere else, that extra drawer would have been handy. the fact that there is ONLY one plug in, in the entire room is ridiculous, thank goodness we brought an extension cord for my husband's CPAP machine. there isn't even a plug in, in the bathroom. being on the back of the ship, the vibration from the engines 'most of the time' were not bad, and you do get a little more motion, but unless you get sea sick, it is kind of is like it is a built in vibration bed and rocks you to sleep. not bad enough, that i wouldn't book there again....the outside door would not seal completely so you had a whistling going on....we had to use paper to stuff into the cracks to quite it down. the balcony was great except that we paid for the extended balcony and yes the bottom of the balcony was extended out about another foot, BUT the railing angled back in towards the deck so you then lost all that space....wasn't worth the extra for the extended.

Cabin doesn't have a couch, has a chair and stool. At the stern but no problems with vibration or noise.
