Carnival Charleston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Ecstasy

It was our family’s first cruise. My wife and I brought our three children 12, 7, and 3. I could not believe how easy and quick the embarkation process was. We never waited in a line once we parked our car. Understand it was an off season cruise but it was amazing. When we got to our cabin things were ok. There was a funky smell that came from the toilets that was not pleasant. The rooms were ...

Port: Charleston- My mom is handicap with a placard. So we got free parking, otherwise it is $20 a day. Crew members directed us to where you give your checked luggage. Then they directed us to the handicap parking where a shutte was waiting for us. You will take your carry on on this bus. They drove us to the front. SECURITY: We brought a 12 pk of soda each that we bungee cord to our carry ...

1. Name of ship-Ecstasy 2. Room #M76 3. Date: Oct 20-25 If you find anything helpful, please let me know with a helpful vote! 4. Pros-Good service staff and the small ship with small crowds was a nice change for us. The entertainment has greatly improved. 5. Cons- Embarkation-This port needs a lot of attention. It still looks like a deserted ship yard that they have kind of pieced ...

DO NOT GO ON THIS SHIP

Our cruise left out of Charleston and I was traveling with my daughter and two other friends. My daughter and I had a ocean view cabin #R188. *If you are able to still cancel your booking, do so! This ship is extremely dated with rust and actual holes showing. There is a terrible sewage smell continuously and not all the elevators work and the ones that do, are questionable. I am so happy I ...

DON’T DO IT!

Safe to say after this I will never be on a Carnival Cruise again! Never, ever! Went on this cruise for my honeymoon + my husband and I were both highly disappointed. Disappointed is the understatement of the century. Would have been better off flushing our money down the toilet. Negatives: • Horrible food. Imagine Golden Corral gone terribly wrong, after an apocalypse. • Buffet was ...

It was our first cruise and I was a little skeptical after seeing the reviews but I really enjoyed myself! The ship was a little rocky only because a hurricane came through the day before. Lots of entertainment and things to do! Needs more pools! Food was absolutely terrible! I was literally starving and only ate ice cream so I made sure I got up for breakfast! Breakfast was the best thing going! ...

Pleasant Short Cruise to the Bahamas from Charleston

We chose this cruise primarily because Charleston is an easy drive from our home in east Tennessee. We actually took our first cruise from this port about 6 years ago, and upon our arrival found that little had changed except that there was no indoor parking available anymore. Embarkation was easy, as our luggage was off-loaded and on its way to the ship before we parked. We did have to wait in ...

Worst Cruise I Have Ever Been On

Chose this because of the ports of call, and the much shorter driving distance to port (6 hours to Charleston, SC. vs. 16 to Florida ports). *REALLY* regretting that now. Terrible food, EXCEPT Guy Fieri's burgers. They were delicious, but the other stations on the Lido deck, and the dining room (we got any time dining and were in the Wind Song dining room) - were TERRIBLE. Tough meat, fried ...

Not the best Carnival experience

My group of 13 in 4 cars all parked at the port and arrived about 11:30am. There was a small line that moved pretty smoothly. The lot is not covered like other ports. It was not very easy to navigate as the lines painted on the pavement don't match up with the cones they have laid out and other cruisers cant seem to figure out where they should be. However, they had enough people out directing ...

Worst cruise ever

Took this quick cruise out of Charleston with 3 other families. We have cruised with Carnival many times before, but this was by far the worst. The pool was closed for maintenance for the first 24 hours of the cruise. Then MANY people got blue paint on their swimsuits because it wasn’t dry. Balcony cabin was really cramped. Food was absolutely horrible. So bad, in fact, that for the first ...
