We read a lot of complaints about this ship but we honestly enjoyed it! This was our second cruise, with the first being on a smaller Royal Caribbean ship.
Embarkation- it was a little slow getting luggage dropped off with the porters. It would have been much faster to just drive into the garage and carry our luggage to curbside ourselves. Once we dropped off bags, we were checked in and on ...
I choose this cruise for the ports of call as my husband had never been to Aruba or Curaçao and we enjoyed both ports. The ship is great the food was good, ship was clean, staff was amazing very attentive to your needs. Didn't catch any of the shows so I can't speak on that portion of the entertainment but the piano bar music was good as well as the young lady singing in the atrium. The only ...
Not pleased with this cruise at all. The room service was not done to standards that we have come to expect on Carnival. The beds were poorly made with sheets and blankets no tucked in. Had to remake the beds to meet ourstanderds. The room servise in the early morning was good to excellant being early or on time every days. Dont believs the the cruise deck was cleaned once during the cruise, The ...
Specifically want to call out the following for their outstanding service and friendliness .... room steward (floor 6) Adul - friendly and attentive; wait staff (Northern Lights, 8:15 seating) Luang and his two team members (sorry guys, don't remember your names) - attentive, entertaining and always greeted and addressed everyone at our table by their first name; Stefan (from Belgium? Bulgaria?) - ...
- Great room...we loved our balcony
- Great service...out room steward was incredibly sweet, attentive, hard-working and clever
Our dinner waitstaff were wonderful...Renato and Erdie were incredibly competent, funny, and blessed with incredible memories when it came to our personal tastes
- Mediocre entertainment (especially the Piano Bar, the so-called comedians, and the Music ...
Like a prior post being from Maine a nice warm late March Caribbean cruise is an awesome thing. Remember there's no such thing as a perfect cruise, learn to roll with minor issues and you will have a great time. The Carnival Glory is a beautiful ship, the entertainment was great and our dining room server Romiel was a shining star, and may our cruise even more enjoyable, remember to give these ...
We were quite excited to go on the Carnival Sunshine with the new waterworks slides, ropes course and new decor as well as the itinerary, The reasons we chose this cruise did not let us down. We were thrilled with the muted colors, as well as slides and the ports. The staff was amazing even though they were always going full steam. No question Carnival is trying to do more with fewer people. ...
I love Carnival & haven't tried any other cruise lines & really have no plans to do so. This cruise was one of the best I have been on. This is our first time leaving our of Miami and we were so tired from the trip down, we really didn't do much sightseeing. Maybe next time! I am very impressed with the Vista! The ship is really laid out well. I did some research on this site and Carnival's before ...
All-in-all, we did enjoy the cruise. But I did have one complaint and was disappointed in how things have changed.
In terms of the complaint, it’s actually pretty significant. Our room’s A/C did not work. We did call and a room steward came by and confirmed there was an issue. She called a technician who also came by ad confirmed the air was not working. He tried a few things and then ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and price. The ship and cabin were very nice and the food exceeded expectation. We had a cabin on the Spa deck with a balcony. The only dowside was the fact that the balcony hung out compared to the deck above. We had a few drink items dropped on the deck when people were watching arrivals and departures. It was a quiet floor and the cabin had ...
